INTRODUCTIONIn the social care the help to the family or individual is being given by the supportworkers (Lovatt and Munday, 2015). In this report the role of non-direct social workers will beidentified. Also, this report will present the skills that is required for non-direct care workers inorder to give acre and support the individual and the families.P1: Role of non-direct care workers The residential care homes, nursing homes, day care centres etc comes in the category ofsocial care environment. In these mentioned social care environment the acre and support theindividual and their family is being given. An essential role is being played in the non-direct careworkers in these social care environments. In order to provide food to the patient in these socialcare environment the food is being prepared by the caterers. In order to prevent any crime in the social care environment such as day care centres andessential role is being played by the security officer. They ensure the security of social careenvironment (Lawrence and Cooper, 016). To the potential lawbreakers the presence of asecurity officer on the premises serve as a deterrent. In the day care centres the data entry aboutthe particular patient and documents creation is being done by the receptionist and they alsoanswer the phone calls at the reception. All the appointment and the queries of the people aresolved by them. In order to ensure that the garden and atmospheres of the day health centre isappropriate of the patient an essential role is being played by the gardener and the cleaners. Thegarden department is handled by the gardener. They make sure that greenery is there in thegarden and it is role of cleaner to ensure that floor and rooms are cleaned and hygienic for thepatients and their family.P2: The interpersonal skill for non-direct workersFor the role of non-direct care workers the interpersonal skills such as verbalcommunications, non-verbal communication skills are essential. The non-care workers need tohave a good listing skills as the receptionist need to be solve the queries of the patients. So, inorder to solve the queries they need to have a good listing skills and based on that they can solvethe issues of the people (Knott and Scragg , 2016). They need to be have a good body languageand also need to be dressed properly and look presentable. While talking to the people in thesocial health care environment they need to maintain confidence and also they need to promote1
