This study aims to identify the prevalence and incidence of surgical site infection in Saudi Arabia, risk factors, and effective interventions to manage it in healthcare settings. Healthcare-associated infections are a major public health issue, and surgical site infections have been found to be one of the most common types. The consequences of SSI can be severe, including life-threatening conditions, increased hospital stays, and higher expenses. The study will search relevant previous studies and use primary research to address the research questions effectively.
