Sustainability in tourism for future of destination
Sustainable tourism means exploring and travelling destination while respecting
environment, culture and people of the country for future of destination. Most of the people do
not travel in such way thus adversely impact on environment and places, people living at such
destination (Shafiee and et.al., 2019). Mass tourism such as hotel tour packages and giant beach
parties does not prioritize natural resources and local tradition culture of destination. Sustainable
tourism is important for people, communities and tourism industry and to whole economy as
more and more people can enjoy the beauty of culture destination. If people want to continuous

Campo Dos Sonhos near socorro are examples of sustainable tourism in Brazil.
One such example of sustainable tourism is Bonito in Mato Grosso do sul, it is place in
Brazil where large number of tourist came that adversely impact on its community and
resource, attarction of place. Thus, for sustainability of destination integrated system was
developed to limit number of people visit region (Yfantidou and Matarazzo, 2017). It controls
monitor and manage people visiting parks by issuing digital voucher in name of individual.
Therefore, it turned Bonito as most sustainable destination in the world so that future generation
can also enjoy and have pleasure of such destination.
Amazon rainforest is one of the famous ecotourism destination in the world and Brazil is

tourism industry and destination (Matos And et.al., 2019). Tourist should ensure safety of
environment, culture and people living in the region while travelling across various destination.
They need to protect environment so that future generation can also enjoy and have fun by

impact on economy, socio-cultural and environment. Various impact caused by increasing
tourism in Brazil are as follows:
Economic: Security problem have devastating impact on tourism and economy as increased
violence in post-Olympic Rio impact negatively on economic as it leads to fall in investment and
employment level in tourism industry (Chung, Chung and Yang, 2017). Due to economic crises
people of Brazil are less willing to spend and increased in price of hotels, restaurants and foods.
High taxes, high cost of labour, customer care personnel and lack of government intervention has
also impact on the tourism. Number of investment in the economic has also fall due to problem
of security. It is also explained that competition has also harmed tourism industry more than
security issues as low competition posed threat to industry. On the other hand industry has
grown over last decade rank 59 out of 136 in the world, but now its rank 27. Government has to
spend lot of money to protect and sustain Brazil biodiversity thus increasing its expenditure but
at the same time it enhances income as more tourist came to visit such places. Tourism industry
has promote grow of Brazil economy as thousand of visitor came to Brazil for having fun and
spending their leisure time. Thus, generating large number of employment, raising living
standard of people living in Brazil. Many hotels and restaurant are also developed to provide

because of European domination African migrants Brazil border thus influencing local culture
with their ancient customs and ideas (Lv and Xu, 2017). They bring new ideas and innovation in

number of culture and ethics thus attract large number of tourist to visit such destination every
year. Due to historical culture and wide biodiversity, rainforest travel are willing to spend their
leisure time. Tourism industry in Brazil is also effected by rising crime in the society as many
stranger came to visit places among them some may be there which can be threat for local people
and communities. Problem in social security has decline tourism and it was recorded that loss of
R$ 320 million over four months of 2017. Thus, seriously impact on revenue and employment
level across state. Many restaurants and bars and travel agencies has faced significant losses due
to decline in revenue (Liu and Li, 2018). It can be stated that increase in crime decreases
confidence of people in public security and thus impact or influences tourist decision-making. It
decreases image of places where crime has been done such as Rio de janeiro and Brazilians thus
people dont want to visit such places in the future. Brazil has suffered cumulative loss of 8,833
for, hob within tourism industry during 6 months in 2017. Due to security issue some losses
expected in Rio 2016 Olympic games. Therefore, security is root cause of decline in local
industry of tourism and employment level and government by enhancing public security can
generate more jobs, companies , revenue as more taxes will be paid.
Environment: Tourism affect environment of destination as more people come to visit such
destination threats to environment increase at rapid pace. Demand for sustainable tourism
increase so that more and more people can enjoy, have fun and spend their leisure time
effectively. By promoting sustainable tourism can support people living in the society by
generating more revenue (Rasoolimanesh and et.al., 2017). Tourist like to visit such places that is
historical, offer them adventure so Brazil is rich in biodiversity, it has one of the world-famous
beach and 247 waterfalls of guazu river at a point where Brazil, paraguay and Argentina meet.
Travel can also have experience of boat trip in river in Amazon rainforest that offer tourist to
watch various wildlife such as monkeys, birds and tortoise thus having fun. Such places and
environment mass tourist to visit Brazil for utilising their leisure time effectively. Such mass
tourist adversely impact on environment of Destination places as more number of people visit
places the threat to protection of environment increases. Brazil government in order to sustain

suspension of visa requirements for tourist coming from Japan, Canada and United stated. Visa
waiver can generate up to 25% thus increase flow of destination involved. Government has also

particular destination can be recorded. It by continuous monitoring and supervising various
activities of tourist helps in sustainability of environment for future generation (Jaremen,
Nawrocka and Żemła, 2019). Thus, it can be stated that tourism adversely impact on
sustainability of resource and environment but government by taking crucial steps can protect
various destination. Therefore, promote growth and survival of tourism and hospitality industry
