country to other for different purpose such as enjoyment, education, short trip, world tour,
business etc. This is because the means of transportation have increased and people feel
comfortable while travelling. It is the fastest growing sector in the world and due to that
international transactions have increased with that there is increase in national income of the
country. In simple world sustainable tourism is growth or increase in the tourism sector in such a
way that different organisation and countries have started earning and reduce in damage of
economy, environment and society. In this presented report, characteristics of planning in
tourism have been discussed. Other than that it also includes importance of interactive planning
systems and process has also addressed. With that different approaches of tourism planning and
development have been known with the need for planning sustainable tourism.
