INTRODUCTION
In today's era, travel and tourism sector is growing day by day. People are travelling from
country to other for different purpose such as enjoyment, education, short trip, world tour,
business etc. This is because the means of transportation have increased and people feel
comfortable while travelling. It is the fastest growing sector in the world and due to that
international transactions have increased with that there is increase in national income of the
country. In simple world sustainable tourism is growth or increase in the tourism sector in such a
way that different organisation and countries have started earning and reduce in damage of
economy, environment and society. In this presented report, characteristics of planning in
tourism have been discussed. Other than that it also includes importance of interactive planning
systems and process has also addressed. With that different approaches of tourism planning and
development have been known with the need for planning sustainable tourism.
Task 1
1.1 How stakeholders can benefits from planning of tourism developments with reference to case
study.
The stake holders are the people who take the self interest in the organisation which may
indirectly influence the decision of the forms. This can be in context of growth of the business
sustainability, stake holders are involved in the planning of their tourism development in which
the befits will be given to the tourist. They are the key person who maintain the relationship with
them. In the Philippines, its major stakeholders as they affect to the demand and supply of the
country as they already have economic crisis (Getz, and Timur, 2012). But due to the tourism
development they are able to manage their economic condition as well the society development.
To over look at the tourism demand the Philippine s government need to involve the stakeholder.
Important stakeholder for the Philippines are as follows:
Tourist/Audiences: this industry is depend on the tourist and the audiences it refers to
the people who are interested to come in the nations or the internal people who are involve in the
countries development. If the tourist are not interested than the economic condition of the nation
will be affected. So to develop the Philippines they have to develop some destinations.
Local residence: for the benefit of the local residence the tourism development planning
should be in the context of them. Local directness are the important person for the tourism
