Introduction
In recent scenario, there are number of talents and skills that presents in the market and
for each talent there are definite career. I believe that I have skills in sports field due to which I
could able to enhance my interest in such field and I have Bachelor degree in Business
Administration and pursuing Masters in Law and Humanities of Sport. A sports person is the one
who is mentally and physically prepare. Therefore, I am fit and strong enough to enter into the
field of sports. The opportunities and offers for future career can be certain easily in sports filed
as this is one of the attracting and high budgeted fields. I can see a definite growth in future in
sports career. There are some of the career options such as, sports event planner who plan events
and organize them accurately; fitness manager is a person who is responsible for fitness of team
member or employees and to have duty to regular check; athletic coach means a coach for
athletes to guide them, lead them and train them. To start anything, first there is a need to look
out and proper analyze of own strength, weakness, opportunities and threats (SWOT). SWOT
benefits a lot to ascertain the capabilities and lacks in sports coaching career. While planning for
future or making strategies the first step is to do is SWOT Analysis of selected option. It will
frame a picture of scope in the market, career opportunities and market risk (Ahn, 2019).
The SWOT Analysis aids to know about the changes or improvements need to be done
due to this and there will be a detailed identification of strength, weaknesses, opportunities and
threats in the career of sports as a coach.
Identification of SWOT (Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats)
Strength: the coaching career at present is widely popular. Every class and age group people is
attracted towards sports coaching centre. In earlier times most preference was given to bookish
knowledge and people were of thought that studying is the only option to grow in future. But
with the changing trends and thinking now parents support co-curricular activities and motivate
their children to participate in games, competition exams, practical’s and many more things. The
support and motivation is the main strength of sports coaching career. Some of the strength is as
follows:
