SWOT is considered to be an acronym of the terminologies namely Strength, Weakness,
Opportunity and Strength. A SWOT analysis is a framework that involves composting of the
different strength and weaknesses of the entire working process. This framework also analyzes
the opportunities that are present in the growth process of the organization. This section also
ensures proper assessment of the threats that might be faced in the process (Blockeel et al 2016).
The entire SWOT analysis can be diversified in 2 sections, namely Internal and External section.
The Internal sections are focused on the strengths and of Weakness of the analyzed segment.
Whereas, the External factors are concerned with the Opportunities and Threats (Büyüközkan
and Ilıca 2019). The main purpose of the SWOT analysis performance is helping the managers in
understanding the potential outcomes that will be effecting the entire working process. The
factors that will be impacting the entire operational process of the service or the success of a
product is analyzed with this framework (Gupta and Mishra 2016). This framework also helps in
analyzing the different competitors that are present in the operational process of the brand. With
the help of the predictive analysis, the main aspect that is to be considered in the process is that
there will be a proper assessment of the success of the products.
Purpose of the report is to analyze the Strength, Weakness, Opportunity and Threats of
Greggs. Analysis of the issues that are present in the operational process of Greggs have been
another aspect that is considered in the section. It have also been seen that the recommendations
that are required for completion of the business process in a better manner is discussed (Gürel
and Tat 2017).
