Organization Background:
Mr Arnold and his wife takes the responsibility of their family business in 2008 at
Toowoomba. They manually operate Toys business. Their customer mostly order toys
through phone call or in email. In that time, their competitors start an automatic system that
can manufacture toys at a low price and provide better delivery options. Mrs Toys realize that
a well maintains information system can boost their business process (Jones. 2014). The
existing system is manually based. Their staff Janice took every call and checked every email
to get the order and save every customer information in the spreadsheet. After getting order
Janice to find the product, pack it and send for the delivery. For the payment, Janice writes
down customer card details over the phone. But at the peak time, they are facing many
problems like order missing; few order delivered to the wrong place, most of the customer
order toys over the phone, toys are not deliverd at the time (Dennis,Wixom and Roth 2018).
To resolve this issue, owners decide to implement an information system that can automate
most of the process. New system can automate the payment and ordering process.
