SWOT analysis of Samsung
Swot analysis is the strategic tool used to measure the organization position and to
develop or create strategic planning. It assesses external and internal factors, as well as future
and present potential (Salah, 2015). It is one of the best framework which has been used to help
company identify its strength, weaknesses, opportunities and threats related to project planning
or might be business competition. This technique organizes business top strengths, opportunities,
weaknesses and threats into the manageable list. It helps firm to identify its internal weaknesses
and abilities as well as their external threats and possibilities.
Strengths-
Samsung is one of the world's most successful and leading electronics manufacturer, it is
worlds the biggest manufacturer of liquid crystal display panels, television sets, smartphone and
mobile phone. Company is known as world's number one marketer of smartphone along with
21.4% of world's largest market share. It has impressive design and research abilities as it shows
their strength, they are able to roll out and create Samsung pay, a money payment application
with similar capabilities to Apple pay.
Weaknesses-
Samsung cannot be able to match Apple marketing capabilities for smartphone, its share
of US smartphone market goes down by 2.3 percent between 2014 and 15. Organization
weakness is internal elements that reduce business abilities and directly effect its financial
performance (Yang and et.al., 2016). They dependence on Android OS is the weakness that
limits firm capabilities, its smartphone operating program functions and related licences is
limited or restricted because of Google licensing of Android.
Opportunities-
Strategic partnership with software developers is one of the best opportunity that
Samsung have, it brings new opportunities for them as to grow business more and more. With
the help of partnerships with software developers company can be able to provide additional
functionality in order to make its consumer electronics more competitive. Strategic partnership
with online facility Samsung garb the opportunity for stronger competitive advantage.

must focus on reducing waste or pollution in air.

for longer term period in market place. Without equal pay according to labour law firm cannot
retain the most talented and skilled peoples with them which is not appropriate for business
success and growth. When organization follow all the trade rules and consider policies within
business, they are able to expand its business all over the world and serve their best and quality
products to peoples from another nation which help to increase their profitability and
productivity. In order to sustain for loner time period, Samsung must pay fare wages to workers
and also pay extra or high amount charges in taxation policy which is beneficial for business
progress and make them able to expand business across the world.
