Introduction
Talent management refers to the procedure of attracting, developing and holding them for
long time duration within business organisation. This is regarded as one of the efficient
technique in order to motivate and develop employees. Some of the talent management schemes
like performance management and rewards and recognition is the techniques used in order ton to
hod employees for longer time durations (Sousa, Ramos and Carvalho, 2021). It is said that
talent management is impacting the business positively and also develops their growth
opportunities. The company selected is Google which is an American multinational technology
that provides internet based services to their customers. Further, this report includes project aim
and objectives, primary and secondary research, project management plan and reflection.
TASK 1
Project aim and objectives
Aim : “To determine the impact of talent management in attracting and retaining talented
employees within an organisation”. A study on Google.
Objectives :
To determine the concept of talent management within an organisation.
To analyse the impact of talent management in attracting and retaining talented
employees within an organisation.
To examine the challenges that is to be faced by managers of Google while implementing
talent management schemes.
Project planning
Cost : Cost is related with the amount spend in order to complete this research. It is about
$1000. it will helps in collecting true and better information.
Scope : The scope of this project is high because talent management scheme are widely
used in the organisation for development of the organizational profits and retention of
employees in working environment (Sarpong, Akom, and Lee, 2021).
Time : Time needed for completion of this project is 12 weeks. Also, there is a use of
Gantt chart and WBS to complete this research in effective manner.
Resources : The resources needed for completion of this project are stationary,
respondent, time and books and articles etc. to gather valid information.

Risk : Some of risk related with then project plan is lack of respondents answers and lack
of getting true information.

M1 Project management plan, milestone schedule and project schedule
There are some of the milestones which are concerned with the completion of this project
are starting with project initiation which includes project aims and objectives, then project
planning and monitoring includes primary and secondary research and at last conclusion and
recommendation is made to achieve research aims and objectives (Waples, and Brock Baskin,
2021). This helps in gaining more information as well.
TASK 2
Literature review
According to Green, (2021) It is being said that talent management is the procedure of
developing and retaining of the employees. Talent management develops employees and their
productivity which results in achieving of organisational goals and objectives. Further, team
becomes more potential while using talent management programmes. Some of the talent
management strategies used in Google company is rewards and recognitions and performance
management programmes because this will helps in development of the organisational profits
and revenue.
According to Pandey, Singh, and Pathak, (2021) It is impacting the company in positive
manner because this develops organisational and employees productivity. Also, it motivates
them and motivated employees works well in company and retain for long durations. There are
various strategies used in company. In addition, at a time of covid 19 and providing them flexible
working environment and work from home. Google is providing effective strategies. But on the
other hand, Amazon is providing performance management programmes such as 360 degree
feedbacks from colleagues and managers and performance appraisal programmes which brings
reliable and valid information.
From Batt, Holzer, and Tuzovic, (2021) Some of the challenges affected at a time of
implementing talent management is poor hiring strategies, inexperience of technologies and
ineffective leaderships and employee turnover. If managers did not work towards motivating of
the employees, then employees may leave from organisational and this increases employees
turnover ratio.
