One of the main reason to conduct this study is to analysethe impact of talent management over the roles played by human resource within a workplace of an organisation. In addition to this, it will assist researcher to gain insight about the concept of talent management and benefits gained by an organisation. It also assist investigator to gain insight about the initiatives that has taken place by respective organisation for managing talent. Furthermore, the present study will assist various stakeholders that is organisation, researcher and so on. It help organisation to develop effective strategies for managing talent that has positive impact on the performance of company. Moreover, it will help research worker to learn and improve skills that is time management, communication, data analysis and so on. Reasons for choosing the project (e.g links to other subjects you are studying, personal interest, future plans, knowledge/skills you want to improve, why the topic is important): Section Three: Literature sources searched Concept of talent management and human resource As per the viewpoint of Ghosh (2021) Talent management is referred as the strategic procedure of getting right talent on-board and assist them to grow their capabilities while keeping companyβs objective in mind (What is Talent Management, 2021). In addition to this, it is a procedure which includes attracting as well as retaining high-quality staff members which help an organisation to gain growth and success. On the other side, Human resource are the asset and an integral part of an organisational growth and success as it help in performing all the activities as per the set objectives. Impact of talent management on the HR role within ASDA According to Lauby, (2016) HR plays an important role in attracting and hiring the right talent at workplace. It is determined that HR manager of a company analyse the requirement of vacant position and ensure that skilful employee is hired who fulfil the criteria and responsibilities as well (The Role of HR in Talent Management, 2016). In addition to this, HR assist an organisation in performance management of staff members due to which the capabilities and skills of employees is enhanced in a proper manner. 2
Benefits of talent management and human resource within ASDA As per the viewpoint of Negi (2021) it is analysed that there are various benefits attained by an organisation because of effective and talented human resource. One of the main benefit is increase in performance and productivity of organisation as talented employees execute activities properly and in a systematic manner (What are the benefits of talent management, 2021). Apart from this, there are also other benefits attained such as improvement in brand image, increase in profitability, employee retention and many more. Initiatives that HR of ASDA could be taken for talent management According to Hannah, (2021), talent management strategy is an effective system of nurturing the employees by means of innovative as well as performance management initiatives. There are various talent management initiatives taken by respective organisation such as providing training and development, allow participation in decision making, give reviews and feedback to staff members (Talent management strategies, 2021). Apart from this, HR track and monitor the performance on continuous basis as it will help in making improvements and managing talent at workplace. conducting the study. It is mainly of two types that is probability and non-probability sampling. For the present research, random sampling which is a type of probability sampling method is chosen(Bairagi and Munot, 2019). The 30 employees of ASDA is selected as respondents and the reason to chosen them as participants is they have knowledge about policies and ground working of company because of which they can provide appropriate information to researcher. Research instrument: The different types of research instruments are questionnaire, interview, focus group and so on. For the present study, Questionnaire will be developed and the reason to select is it help in gaining in-depth knowledge regarding topic that leads to development of valid conclusion. Dataanalysis:Thetwotypesofdataanalysismethodisthematicanalysis,frequency distribution analysis. For the present study, frequency distribution analysis will be applied (Leedy and Ormrod, 2019). The reason to select this is it help in analysing primary data and also help to present findings in the form of graphs and charts.
