Introduction
Talent management tend to also focuses on identifying the skilled candidates along with
regular providing training and making use of other strategies to ensure higher motivation and
development of employees to drive success within a firm (Sandeepanie and et. al., 2022). The
organisation selected for current project is New Look which is a well-known British fashion
retailer that was established during the year 1969 and having speciality in delivering trendy
clothing, accessories and footwear for all men, women and teenagers. Currently new look is
having more than 519 stores in UK and Ireland along with offering its product across the world
including its branches in Bangladesh and many countries (7 Fashion Brands Made in
Bangladesh, 2022).
Aim and objective
Aim
The main aim of the current project is, “To review about the need and importance of
Talent management along with deterring its impact on employee performance.” A project on
New Look.
Objective
To analysis the concept of talent management and its rising need and importance in
current business environment.
To determine the impact of talent management on the performance level of the
employees.
To investigate about some more effective talent management practices that can be used
by New look to support higher attraction and longer retention of skilled candidates.
Research questions
What is meant by the concept of the talent management and its rising need and
importance in current business environment?
What possible form of the impact of talent management is seen on the performance level
of the employees?
