The strategic human resource team comprises of handling the group's employees and operations. The strategic human resource management department's mission would be to attract and motivate individuals in order to maintain employees in the market and gain their efficiency so that the company could expand and flourish. As the number of competitors in the market grows, it is more important than ever for businesses to manage and motivate their staff so that they can give their all.. In order to keep its most competent employees, the company faces a number of challenges. This research will focus on a small business, Connect Catering Ltd, which is located in the United Kingdom. In addition, this report will do primary and secondary research in order to discover the most effective tactics employed by the chosen organisation. MAIN BODY Overview of the company Connect catering company is the small level organization in UK. The organization provided variety of the services like delicious party platters, sandwich platters. The connected catering company is a family operated organization that is Oxford shine based organization and caters catering services for their business. Research aim“To identify the talent strategies do the best companies use to attract and retain people?” A case study of Connect catering Ltd Research objectives: To evaluating the company's talent management procedure. To figure out which Connect catering Ltd strategies are the most effective. To evaluate the benefits of talent management in order to keep personnel. Research Question:What is the company's view of talent acquisition, and what are Connect catering Ltd's process and outcome for gaining new possibilities?
Literature Review According to "(Lee, 2019)," talent management is "the strategy of attracting the sharpest individuals to the firm in order to develop their prospects." Talent management is a highly effective strategy since it allows a company to increase its options and grow in the market. Talent management also boosts the company's efficiency and productivity by encouraging employees to perform more efficiently and effectively in order to provide better results. In order to enhance opportunities and generate great results, the Connect catering Ltd firm employs a variety of strategies. The company utilizes both domestic and foreign applications to find the best candidates for the job.They also provide training and development programmes to assist candidates in improving their knowledge and skills in order to increase their talents and get better results. They may also aid with activities such as appraisals, motivational talks, and activities aimed at motivating employees toward the company so that they feel more valuable as a consequence of the recognition programme and give it their best. Further, as per the opinion Sinha, P. and Sigamani, P., 2016, ofThe talent management concepts within a firm comprises of effective restatement and selection of talented candidates along with focusing and emphasizing on their proper development and higher retention.the organisation needs to ensure that it keeps its employees motivated and satisfied so that a healthy workplace culture can be maintained in the company and all the employees are able to work productively towards accomplishing organisational goals. Engaged employees provides various benefits to organisation in terms of reduced employee turnover, healthy workplace culture, improve productivity and performance of employees and organisation, developing good brand image etc.(Claxton Ferreira and Oliveira, 2014).However, some of the organizations failed to adopt good practices in the company which leads to dissatisfied employees in the organisation that adversely impact on their engagement in working activities of company.Thus, the concept of the talent management become vital to effectively motivate and retain the talented emolyess within a firm. This research also enables me to develop my organisational knowledge and skills, as well as my interactions with others while conducting interviews and surveys. This research allowed me to put my diverse abilities to work in order to eliminate business-related challenges and choose the best approach to help the company achieve its objectives in the shortest period feasible, as well as gain greater development and success in the worldwide market.Further, implication of quantitative research method was also made by me that consists use of questionnaire for data collection which ensures gathering of significant information thus, it an effective way to meet objectives of current investigation. Alternative research methodologies and lessons learnt The alternative searches method that could be used by me consists of qualitative form of research method along with inductive approach to ensures more in-depth and theoretical study for an investigation. Furthers, implication and use of interview could also be made as alternative research method. CONCLUSION From the above mentioned report it has been concluded that talent management strategies is very helpful for the organization in order to achieve their goals and objectives.
