Essays An essay can be termed as a piece of writing which is written to
make understand something or someone, or to update the reader
about a specific topic on which the essay is written. It helps to
outline the story of the writer in usually a smaller context. It
includes three parts, namely introduction, body and conclusion. It
helps to satisfy the audience about the piece of writing. There are
four major types of essays, namely narrative essays, expository
essays, descriptive essays and persuasive essays. Essay can be
formal as well as informal. Formal essays are usually academic in
nature and handles serious topics, whereas informal essays are more
personal and may have humorous elements.
Interviews An interview is a conversation between two or more persons where
questions ae asked by the interviewer and answers are provided by
the interviewee. The word interview states a one-to-one
conversation between the interviewer and interviewee. Information
are provided and asked involving both the parties, but mainly it is
transformed from the interviewee to the interview. It can also be
termed as a communication, which provides a one-way flow of
information. There are different types of interview, namely face-to-
face-interview, videoconferencing and telephonic interview.
Interview can be structured as well as unstructured one.

Unstructured interview involves no prearranged questions to be
asked, whereas structured interview involves particular questions
given in a particular order.
Learner statements Learner statements or learning outcomes are those statements which
helps to describe important or powerful learning that the learners
have accomplished, and are able to demonstrate the learning they
has gained at the end of the program or course, through reliable
ways. It forms an essential part of the learning. These statements
helps to identify the things what the learner wold know and what
they would be able to do by the end of a program or course. The
learning statements also helps to reflect the wider conceptual
knowledge along with the adaptive vocational and comprehensive
skills, along with the essential attitudes and knowledge.
Learning journal A learning journal is a collection of observations, notes, thoughts
and other important materials that are built-up over a span of time,
or as an outcome of a period of learning, study or working
experience. It is personal to one own self and helps to reflect the
preferences, personality an experiences. The main purpose of a
learning journal is to strengthen the learning through the process of
thinking and writing about the learning experiences. It helps to
evaluate the improvement of the learning of the person, along with
storage of the thoughts and ideas covering all the experiences.
Portfolio of evidence Portfolio of evidence can be termed as a collection of documents
that is required to be gathered or compiled in order to show the
competence of a person against an array of learning outcomes and
