In regards to Royal London Hospital (Barts NHS Health Trust) it can be noticed that, it is lagging
behind in abiding to certain standards of care like ensuring safety and responsiveness while
delivering care services.
Focus of the presentation would be on:

strategies that can be implemented for enhancing quality in health and social care

On analyzing the care services delivered by Barts NHS Health Trust, two major areas for providing with quality care services
can be seen to be missing.
In order to improve these areas of care services, standards that are needed to be abided by it are:
National Institute for Health and Care excellence (NICE) standards- NICE standards, helps in identifying the areas of
development and quality improvement while delivering care services.
Care services in which, there have been a variation of care, can be identified with the help of NICE standards in Barts NHS
Health Trust (Soltanifar and Russell, 2012).
Hence, Barts NHS Health Trust would be able to identify areas of care service in which there has been diversion in regards
to standards like safety by abiding to NICE standards.
CQC standards- This standard is needed to be mentioned here. It provide with standards like emphasis on person centred
care, ascertaining dignity and respect, emphasis on elements like consent and safety in the process of delivering care
services.
Aiding to these standards would also help in enhancement of quality of care services in Barts NHS Health Trust by
identifying areas of services where diversion has occurred from the mentioned CQC standards like safety (Glasper, 2015.)
