This study examines the effects of hands-on activities on teaching vocabulary for second grade ESL learners. It explores the relationship between student performance and hands-on activities. The research problem is the difficulty students face in remembering new words during their learning. The research purpose is to examine the effects of hands-on activities on teaching vocabulary for second grade ESL learners. The research questions are whether hands-on activities impact student achievement, the relationship between student performance and hands-on activities, and how hands-on activities affect student achievement in vocabulary skills. The study is important because it will increase the reliability of hands-on activities in increasing vocabulary in students.
