INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUNDMobile technology is being regarded as the form of technology that is being used incellular communication. In this regard, it can be said that mobile technology plays a veryimportant role in today’s society. This is because; the given technology helps in the task ofmaking the lives of people quite simpler (Jeng and et.al., 2010). In other words, it can also besaid that technology tends to play a very significant role in the industries as well as in developingcountries. Technology has influenced all walks of human life such as social and educational life.On the other hand, technology has also brought a drastic change in the behavior of the individualas well as cultural norms (Muzellec & O'Raghallaigh, 2018). However, even though mobiletechnology has made our life easier but still there are some aspects of life that have drasticallyaffected due to the given technology. However, among all social structure of the human hasimpacted most. The mobile technology has reduced the physical interaction between people. Thishas happened due to the presence of different mobile applications. Thus, in the given study survey has been carried out on the impact of mobile technologyon the life of society. The main purpose of this survey is to compare the positive and negativeeffect of mobile technology on society. In this regard, in the given report different points thatshowcase the positive and negative effect of mobile technology on the people of society will behighlighted. People of society have become very much dependent on mobile phones. This is happeneddue to a different type of innovative features such as video calling, voice calling and using thetechnique like GPS to track the location. These things have made the life of people veryconvenient. However, in this report benefits and limitations that are associated with these mobiletechnologies will be assessed on society. Here, the comparison will be carried out on the basis ofhealth perspective, work perspective, and social perspective. On the other hand, the scope of thesurvey is very wide. This is because; by using this survey a decision can be taken that whethermobile technology is improving the lives of society people or not. This study has usefulness forthe government of the nation.In addition to this, the respective study has scope for researcherswho are also performing their research study in a similar type of topic. Here, with the help of thegiven study, they can prepare the base for their own study. On the other hand, it is through this1
way only scholars are able to complete their literature review related section within a givenspecified time frame in an effectual way. COMPARISON AND DISCUSSIONComparisonA comparison is being carried out between the positive and negative effect of mobiletechnology on society. In accordance with the given context, from the conducted analysis it isidentified that mobile technology has improved the communication between two people and thusdue to this people have become much close to each other. This has happened due to the presenceof different mobile technology like social networking sites, video calls; voice phone calling anddifferent other type of social activities (Katz, 2008). In this context, it can be depicted thatmobile technology has offered numerous means of communication for the people of society.Thus, this gives the opportunity to the member of society with regard to choosing anycomfortable mean for communication as per their desire. From this, it is very correct to say thatfrom the social perspective mobile technology has reduced the distance between two people. Forexample, with the help of these all given means, an individual can contact with that specificperson who is residing in some other nation in an effectual manner. It is by complying with agiven type of activity only mobile technology has enhanced the social life of people in society.However, before the presence of mobile technology people do not have to mean with an aim tocommunicate with the friends and family member who is staying in some other country or someother location. Hence, from a social perspective, mobile technology is playing a very importantrole. But, in comparison to this as per the opinion of Ling (2004), mobile technology hasimproved the social relationship between people but it is restricted to virtual way only. This isdue to the reason that because of the development of mobile technology, people of society hascompletely neglected the real spirit level of communication. Here, before the evolution of mobiletechnology, an individual tends to rely on only one way of communication that is face to face.However, today also they can also communicate in this way through video calling feature ofmobile. But, by using this feature from surface an individual could feel like it is more connectedto the other people (Humbani & Wiese, 2018). Actually, the reality is not like that.
