Business Issue
There is various kind of business issues are facing by the companies like uncertainty
about what will happen in the future, financial management, performance monitoring, regulation
&compliance are two terms that are often used interchangeably, competencies & finding the
appropriate people, technology, data is exploding, customer service is really important. For this
report Tesco is taken as the chosen organisation in which company is facing some specific
business issues like issue related with the change because most of the staff members are deny to
adopt the change. It is essential for businesses to implement change & to take suitable procedures
that will aid in maintaining the efficacy of organisational change. It has been concluded that if
the need for transition becomes obvious, the organisation must select the appropriate course of
action to successfully implement that change (Doppelt, 2017). Tesco is one of the UK's most
successful & best-known groceries, as well as one of the world's largest commercial retailers.
Tesco was founded in 1919 by Jack Cohen in east London. Jack Cohen came up with the
moniker after acquiring a quantity of tea from T.S. Stockwell. Tesco is the largest grocery chain
in the United Kingdom, with sales of £38.558 billion (including VAT) in 2010 & £62.537 billion
worldwide. Despite the crisis, Tesco has made a staggering £3.4 billion profit worldwide this
year.
The main motive to adopt and implement the change is to improve the effectiveness of
the organisation and also gain more competitive advantages. Company is looking forward to
implement the high level of technologies so that company can effectively improve the
productivity level of their employees and their employee can easily provide their best
contribution in order to develop the organisational situation. It is determined that when
executives wanted to implement change, they are taking a huge risk. However, many
transformation programmes fail because firms struggle to create & maintain change
appropriately. Company manager have a higher chance of success if your organisation uses the
elements of effective change management to influence your own marketing strategy (Ford and et.
al., 2019).
