Business environment refers to the environment in which the external forces are to be
controlled in an proper manner so that the effective functioning of business take place in an
environment. There are two factors affecting the business environment these are the internal
factors and the external factors affecting the business in an proper manner so that the decision
can be taken properly (Khan and Quaddus, 2015). The company taken for this report is Barclay
Plc it is a British multinational investment bank and was founded in the year 1896 and had its
headquarters in London U.K. The topic covered under this report are factors affecting business,
SWOT and PESTLE analysis and its recommendations.

There are different factors in the organisation which affect the business and the measures
are taken by the organisation to correct them. Factors affecting the Barclay Plc company are
described below:
 Common attitudes: It helps in knowing the attitude of the customers towards the
banking as they are saving the money in the bank so proper security and safety is to be
provided by the Barclay PLC.
 Economy: It is an another factor which affect the operations of the business as the
