INTRODUCTION
Hospitality industry are those industry which include different fields within industry
including event planning, lodging, transportation, food and drink service (Afsar, Shahjehan and
Shah, 2018). It include different hotels, bars and restaurants and role of hotels has long industry
in hospitality industry. This sector include service like food and beverages, lodging, travel and
tourism and entertainment. Hospitality industry is growing industry and contribute in growth of
economy of a country. This project include study of Premier Inn which is providing service of
hotels. It is a British organisation which is established in year 1987 in UK by Whitbread. The
company is providing their service in different countries including Germany, India, Jersey, UK,
United Arab and providing service of hotels, food and beverage, club to enhance experience of
their customers. Organisation has around 800 hotels which are established in varied locations.
This project report include current structure, size and scope of hospitality industry. It also include
current skills required in this industry, review of external as well as internal factors in this
industry and relation of these issues in this industry and analysation of trends and development in
this industry.

There are various business included in this industry and offer variety of product and
service in their offering. Premier Inn is an organisation which is providing different business in
same industry which are as follows:
Accommodation: Hospitality industry is one of those industry which include different
types of hotels and facilities which is result of accommodation for people for overnight in
travelling (Chin and Law, 2020). There are various hotels including budget hotel, spa hotel,
luxury hotels, boutique hotel, resort hotel. These hotels are some of important player present in
this industry. In travelling, a person need hotels to stayed and for rest purpose. It is one of broad
sector presented in hospitality industry and include service range from bed to breakfast and offer
other lodging services. Premier Inn is providing their business in this sector as company is
providing hotel room to stay while travelling.
