Discussion of the issue
The central theme of the report focuses on the effect of the training and development
in the performance of the Tesco. Apart the project report has discussed on the process
of research in this regard so as to have a proper insight of all the parties associated
with the concerned company. In addition, the project report has elaborated on the
aspects related to the collection of data and has also discussed the positive and
negative consequences associated with the methods of data collection. Apart, the
report has discussed the effective process that is required to be followed by the
researcher in order to ensure that all the activities related to the process of research are
carried in a coordinated manner. Further, the project report has provided the role of
stakeholders in the process of research for effective results. The project report, in
addition, has provided useful suggestions and recommendation throughout the report
so as to facilitate the researcher in the effective decision in relation to the process of
research.
Training and development is the process that supports the organisation in enhancing
the skills and the knowledge of the employees so that the workforce of the concerned
company performs in a more effective manner leading to the achievement of the
organisational goals. In addition, the training and development support in motivating
the employees of the organisation as their skills are enhanced and elaborated with
these training sessions. Training and development must, however, be implemented in
an effective manner as it is a very important aspect and requires efficient knowledge
and skills with regards to the implementation (Khalid, et. al.,2012). However, the

Stakeholders are considered to be the most vital resource of the organisation. The
stakeholders of Tesco involves the group of stakeholders as three distinct sets that are
in relation to the profit (employees and customers), in relation to the cost of the
production (suppliers) and in relation to the tax implications (Government). In
addition, the stakeholders are very important and crucial as all the strategic decisions
can be handled and managed by the involvement of the all the parties related to the
