INTRODUCTION
Policing is considered as activities or practices carry out by the police officer in order to
prevent laws as well as order at the public place or society. In addition to this, it also ensure that
there is implication of fair as well as legal practices in the area of public life. There are several
basic goals of policing such as providing services, protect civil rights, preserve the peace,
prevent crime and many others (Laurila, 2020). The respective report is based on determining the
peelian principles by the Sir Robert Peel. He is a British statesman as well as member of
conservative party, who serve twice as the Prime Minister at United Kingdom. Along with this,
report also include aspects which reflect how respective principles impact on the policing policy
as well as practice currently.

in policing policy and practice today.
Sir Robert Peel established the London Metropolitan Police Force in year 1829. He is
known as the Father of Modern Policing as well as his commissioners developed a list related to
the policing principles which remain as urgent and crucial in current time. This will include three
main ideas as well as nine principles. The underpinning standards or principles for the policing in
Wales and England taken through HMIC's Annual Assessment of policing in the England as well
as Wales 2013/ 2014. Sir Robert Peel become as home secretary in year 1822 as well as in 1829.
He mainly develop first full time, centrally organized and professional police in the England and
Wales mainly for the Grater London locations. There are main nine peelian principles developed
by Sir Robert Peel, which are explained below:-
To prevent crime and disorder – It is considered as principle according to which it is
essential for police officers to prevent crime as well as disorders at society. In respect of
this, they may get repression by the military forces as well as severity of the legal

respect of this police conduct proper evaluation of society as well as they also develop
rules, regulation and polices in order to prevent crime as well as disorders. In current
