INTRODUCTION1.1 Background of the study Event management is considered as application of project management approach whichallows to have effective creation and development of large scale events. Classification of eventscan be as festivals, conferences, ceremonies, weddings and formal parties. It has been noticedthat number of people visit to the events which some time create a panic situations. It mightaffect the overall outcome of the event and may lead to failure (Getz, 2012). In order toovercome such issues the event management firms are effectively focused towards diversemanagement tactics that assist in crowd control and further administration. It indicates that byhaving an effective development of understanding in respect to the measures of crowd controlmanagement the overall practice can also be advanced. It has been noticed that there are number of activities which need to be performed by eventplanning firm in order to meet the industrial standards. Setting out a date and organising a teamfor proper management and branding is one of major concern which need to be referred byexperts (Ravaud, 2011). By having an effective development of measures in regard to properadministration can be taken into account. However, it is not clearly acknowledged by the eventmanagement businesses that how crowd control and management tactics is leading event tosuccess level. With an application of diverse measures the issues in terms of management withinevent can be resolved. Questionnaire are not being designed to support thedata collection because study is based on the secondary sources. As same the books, journals andonline source are being accessed in order to have secondary data collection. Moreover, thequalitative technique of research is being employed in order to have better accomplishment ofobjectives. 1.7 Structure of the dissertationProper structure of dissertation is necessary to refer in order to ensure that long termsustainability can be attained.
