requirement and handling of the infected people. According to Director of NHS, the
cardiovascular diseases are the most dreaded reason of premature deaths in UK. Thus, it makes
their prevention as on of the major priorities. Some priorities and approaches that are been
implemented are:
Improving health management at primary care units: The health agencies will look

the primary care units are capable of handling small health issues like headaches,
common colds, gastric symptoms and even cardiovascular diseases etc. to avoid any sort
of burden on the bigger agencies.

(Watson and Downe, 2017). This will provide them with the significant information
which they are required to take into consideration for betterment of the health services.
Supporting the healthcare services in hospitals: The health care units and agencies
will look to it that they support and help the hospitals to conduct their services in a more
effective and better way. They may help them to handle the inpatients or emergency
cases or the people with acute physical illness (Yusuf, 2017). This will make the health
regulatory processes more efficient and effective.
Setting up the priorities and working on them: The health units can set up a priority
and work on it in order to make the public health services and actions more effective and
appropriate. This will help the health agencies to set their goals and plan efficient
measures in order to meet them.
P2.2 Relationship between prevalence of disease and requirements of services required by

As per the report of NHS, majority of the people in UK suffers from the cardiovascular
diseases like heart attacks, strokes, high blood pressure and atrial fibrillation. The government
along with NHS, is working on the controlling and prevention of the heart diseases in UK. The
NHS is working to make the system more independent, self monitoring and making better the
work conditions to reduce the risk of cardio vascular diseases.
In the recent time the ratio of health patients have been increased in UK. The
requirements and responsibilities of the healthcare service provider has increased drastically with
the increase in the severity of the cases. In such condition the requirements are to be met in
accordance of the cardiovascular diseases. Some requirements that are to be taken in the

Regular check ups and trails can be held to identify and avoid any sort of occurrence of a
cardiovascular emergency (Yang, 2017.). This can be done by promoting the early
detection and adopting preventive measures to reduce the risk of heart diseases.
Additional to this, the service providers can work with governmental organisations to
keep a check on the toll of heart and cardiovascular patients. It will help the government
to develop an effective plan to meet such conditions in UK.
P2.3 Impact of current lifestyle on future of healthcare and social services
With the advancement of technology and increase of the trend of fast food culture, the
chances of the occurrence of cardiovascular diseases has been increased to a higher rate in the
society which had become an issue of great worry and concern for the health care and social
services operational in UK (Wilson and et.al., 2017). The increase in sedentary lifestyle, lacking
of physical work over use of high cholesterol and sugar products and high pollution have
increased the number of people with cardiovascular diseases along with hypertension, loss of
appetite and obesity.
Unhealthy and improper diet, smoking, alcohol consumption, drugs and working in high
stress conditions have been a major reason of people suffering from heart diseases. Also, overuse
with misuse and high dependency on the modern technology has added a lot to it. Lack of sleep,
high depression or stress, unhealthy lifestyle and reduction in physical exercise or work is the
main reason of increase in rate of the heart patients in UK. The health care and social services in
UK are working on the these factors in order to make people more aware about the growth of
cardiac disease and risks of modern, sedentary lifestyle. Apart from this, the people has also
become aware about the loss of health conditions due to modern living. They are taking the
appropriate measures and adopting the practices to improve the quality of their healthcare and
social well being. The people are now taking measures to reduce their dependency of the junk
food and modern technologies to get their work done and opting for a better and clean lifestyle.

that can be prioritize by an individual for health and well being such as sleep, diet, hygiene,
