INTRODUCTION
An effective IT system can be termed as the use of technology in the company in order to
function various departments of the company smoothly. Effective IT system helps the
organization in managing all the functions of the business efficiently. This study is based on the
JS super market which deals with the large variety of products and services. This super market
provides various products such as fashion clothing items, food products, sports wear, groceries
etc. This Study will help in understanding the significance of using IT system in JS super market
that will increase the efficiency and performance of the business. The report will concentrate
towards different departments of the company use IT system to store the data and information.
This research will also make a clear understanding about the different business functions which
adopt IT system that supports the value added change in the organization. It will also help in
creating understanding about the use of IT system for improving the business operations

There are various functional units of this organization that needs proper implementation
of information technology systems for maintenance and management of entire integrated
framework to improve the productivity and profitability as well. The following are the major
functions that needs effective use of IT systems for smooth running of operations.
Inventory Management- This involves a POS system application that provides an assistance of
cash management and checkout for record keeping and administration of the financial details in
context to their investments and other expenditures. In this regard, the customers' are the king-
makers and the entire framework must be done to facilitate them with the ordering of items,
organising the shelf management and more (Roumeliotis and et.al., 2013). This has minimised
the challenges faced by the staff while checking the stock or maintaining it in the warehouse or
stores. Additionally, this assisted the managers to keep the records regarding the attendance and
scheduling of shifts and others along with an emphasis on using the scale management when
bulky items needs to be counted for transactional purposes.
Human Resource Management- This is the backbone of any organisation and impact the
formation of the company's taskforce by doing the recruitment and selection procedure in
appropriate manner. This department coordinates and maintains a relationship with all the other
sections of the company and support to build a rapport with team work and transparent

scope and opportunities in expanding more in future.

and thus technology have also improved the business operations which have large future scope

use of internet is as follows:

business environment. This helps in effective communication which helps in smooth functioning
of the business.

Recommendations for implementation of practical solutions in IT systems
Few of the major recommendations that this firm must comply with is a legal framework
to employ the security systems in a compact and coherent order so that their data cannot be
hacked through their competitors (Sandikkaya and Harmanci, 2012). Moreover, they must also
take necessary steps to combat the gaps for achieving the desired states by making their
knowledge management in concise order. Along with, the MIS (management information
systems) must be established to understand the implications at global level for maximising the
resources' allocation and providing more efficient solutions by laying guidelines and instructions
to make their staff follow them with discipline. Along with this, there must be a determination
that prioritize the technological needs in optimum levels by defining and identifying the

2018). However, if there is a need to set up few standard measurements to capture the
performance of an organization through to implementing several meetings and programs.
CONCLUSION
From the above study it has been concluded that IT system supports the efficient
operations of the business and it also helps in sustaining the business for the longer run. This
study had created a complete understanding about the effective use of IT system in the business
that supports the value added change in the organisation. The research will help in identifying
various business functions that uses HRIS (Human resource information system) and MIS
(Management information system)system to improve the performance of the JS market. This
study has also concluded that adopting the latest technology in the company engage the
employees in understanding the concepts rather then focussing of the small operations of the
business. The report had also provided various recommendations to support the value added
change in business that helps in improving the productivity. This research has also mentioned
application of different IT system which performs particular work that supports the main
objective of the company.
