INTRODUCTION Employability skill are those skill which employee required of working in any organization. These skill as such as problem solving skill, communication skill etc. which are important for getting success in company. The present report is based on Asda, it is a retail store operates all its selling activity at online and through retail stores. The present report covers, the effective time management strategies which is identified. Along with this, various tools and method for appropriate solution for problem is evaluated. 1.1 According to the given scenario, I am working as HR manager working atAsda from last 6 month. Here are some my own responsibility towards theorganization. I need to work hard in theorganization, so they organization goals and objective can be achieved. Further I need to recruit a candidates who work hard for the organization. there I need to develop my own skill such as problem solving skill so that I can easily solve the conflict and any issues taken place between employee. Further I need to improve my communication skill so that I can clearly communicate with employee and share them my views and ideas without losing a confident. It is necessary for me to manage all the work on time so that time not waste and all wok completed on time. I also need to improve my technological skill which is very important for working in organization. I should no how to use a computer word processing and other software so that I can manage my work on pc. ï‚·I will also attend seminar and conference which help in improving mycommunication skill through this I cancommunicatewith employee by making proper eye contact. ï‚·My performance objectives are as follow ï‚·I will do a short course and online course of software, so that my technological skill can be improved. ï‚·I will also study a skill course that looks at problem solving and deal with the issues at the work place which help me inimprovingmy problem solving skill. Some roles and responsibilities of line manger is as follows ï‚·responsibility of line manager is to help business for achieving its overall goal and objectives 3

Performance objective are as follow ï‚·To provide training and development facility to workers so that they can easily handle the complex task. ï‚·Focus on providing healthy and secure environment to employees. ï‚·Recruit highly skilled candidates so that company can achieve its goal and objectives on time. 1.2 My own effectiveness against the defined objectives is that I attends a seminar which enable me tocommunicateeffectivelyat the work place. I also developed my technological skill which is helpful for me in maintaining all the data of employees and other work in less time, further I solved the problems of employee which they are facing at work place. I also created a work environment in the organization so that employee can work more effectively and efficiently. I can also manage the work of employee without feeling them stress or demotivated. 1.3 Recommendation for the improvements I recommended that employee at the work place are properly trained so that they work hard for the organization. through a training and development facility employee can easily handle the critical task at work place and can develop their own skills. Secondly it is recommended that new technology should be implemented at work place so that employee work load can be decrease with the help of new technology. It also help in increasing the productivity of the organization and also increase the sales. It is recommended that in organization employee should be motivated regularly so that they cab give their best effort to their organization and can compete work on time. 4

Moreover employee should be appreciated on their good performance it will make them feel happy and they try to keep improving their quality of work. When employee basic need fulfill their high level need increased then it can be fulfilled by providing them a job security, monetary or through a non monetary incentives. TASK 2 2.1 At the Asda problem which is face by the employee is lack of proper guidance and training facility. Worker of Asda are not getting a proper guidance related to their work. Multiple task are allocate to them without any proper planning which make them trouble at the time of working. Further new and existing employee are not provided training facility so they not able to give quality of work to the organization. Employee are not properly trained to handle the critical task in the company (Jackson, 2015). This are the problem which employee are facing at work place. For solving this problem I take out a solution which is very effective at work place. I started providing a training facility to employees which help in improving their weak skills. Further, i keep a training and development session once in a month for the old employee 5
where they can share issues which they face in working. Through this employee are working hard for the organization and they are giving a quality performance to the organization. secondly, I provide a mentor for watch new employee which can guide and help them in their work. With the help of this new employee are getting proper guidance and work allocated to them are according to their skills and knowledge so that they not any kind of issues related to work. This way I solve the problems of employee a and it help increasing the productivity of the productivity of the organization. 2.2 Communication isthe important part of the organization, at the Asda there is various level and in each level communication style is different. There should be a proper communication between employee and management so that no miscommunication occur at work place (Pretti,sNoel and Waller, 2014). In the organization if many miscommunication take place then it may lead to conflict and loss. Further at different level there are different communication style that are as follow: Lower level of management:at the lower level of management employee carry out daily operations of the organization (Batenburg van Walbeek and in der Maur,2013). Their work is to handle the projects and carry out daily working activities. In this level information is pass through a notice to the employee. Their employee can communicate with each other directly. There is also a informal communication between employees. Top level of management;at the top level employee who work their role is to make strategies and policy. they also set objective and target for the organization. Any information and message send them through a meeting or email (Kolster, Westerheijden and Frederiks, 2014). No information directly communicated within the employee at this level. Information flow through emails and in meeting. Middle level of management:employee of middle level work to implement the policy and strategy made by top level. In this level information send through a meeting, phone call or through. Like top level management there is no informal communication between employee and workers, 6
2.3 Time management strategies which are very effective for working at workplace are as follow Setpriority: their is required to set priority of work, which means complete the task which is urgent then focus on important task. It can be done by making a to do list of work and follow it inn systematic manner so that all work complete on tine. Avoidmultitasking; an employee should not perform two or three task at some time . it may consume the time of switching form one task to other (Leong, Giddens and Dickson, 2014). At one time only one task should be completed. Doing a ,multi task at one time can create a confusion and also can affect the work quality. withthe help of these time management strategies company can easily manage the employees work on time and further it can also increase the productivity of the organization, this strategies are very helpful for the organization TASK 3 3.1 In the organization there are different type of people and they all play various role for achieving the that are discussed below Action oriented role Shaper: this type of people in team who challenge the it can improvement. They make sure that all things which is not done by others can be done by them. Implementer: implementer are the people who wants that things to be done. They turn the team ideas into a action and plan it (Kolster, Westerheijden and Frederiks, 2014). They work in a systematic manner and organize all work in well mannered. Completefinisher; these type of people are those who see that projects are completed and there is no mistake in projects. They want that all team members finished their work on time because they are perfectionist. People oriented role; Coordinator: this type of employee guide their team member and tell them about the objective of company. They listen each employee carefully and value each team member. Teamworker; this people provide a support to their team people and ensure that all team member are working effectively or not. They are flexible by nature, diplomatic and perceptive. 7

Resource investigator: this type of people are innovative and curious. They work with stakeholder and help team in achieving its objective (Belbin, 2012). This team member are enthusitic and identify the work and complete it in innovative way. Though oriented roles Plant: they are creative and always come with new approached and new ideas.They are impractical at time because their idea are novel. 3.3 There are various way of completing a task and to a target at work place that are as follow: Team building: At as Asda team is build so that all the task can be achieved easily on time. The team members are very supportive and are highly skilled in their work. Working in a team make easy for the people to complete achieve the target on time (Galliers and Leidner, 2014). The goals and objective of team should be cleared in front of the team members so that they give their full effort in achieving a goals. Opencommunication: there should be open communication between team members. All the targets and goals should be communicate with the employee so that they easily work. It provide a opportunity to employee to sit together and discuss on issue related to work. 4.2 There is appropriate strategy which is required to solve the problem at work place that are as follow there is problem of low productivity in the organization and because of this sale of the company is falling down (Jackson, 2015). Employee are not giving full effort in work and further they are getting demotivated because of work load. For this purpose strategy is set by the organization which need to be implemented 11

This strategy help company for motivating the employee and for increasing sale 4.3 The potential impact on the business of implementing a strategy is as follow: There has been some positive and negative impact on the organization of implementing a strategy that is employees of Asda are working hard for the organization. as they are giving a full effort on work. So that company sales can increases (Jollands, M., Clarke and Burton, L., 2015).Employee were provided reward on their best performance which encourage them to work hard for getting the reward. Employee are given a training related to new technology which make their work easy. They are provided a all types of benefits and job security which make them feel secure. This helps in increasing the productivity of the organization. The impact of changes is that employee started working hard for the organization. Along with this employee of understand the way of using technology this help in making their work easier. Apart of this employee provided job security which make then feel risk free this motivate employee to work hard for organization. CONCLUSION From the above report it can be concluded that it is necessary to develop own skill for working in any organization.
