INTRODUCTION
Every business organization needs to monitor the performance of its business for
improving it by taking suitable and appropriate steps and measures for increasing economies of
scale of the business and productivity of the employees as well. It is imperative to keep the
employees motivated to make them take more tasks and work in the interests of the organization
along with their self-interests. Organizations should analyse the impact of macro environmental
factors by using different business frameworks (Weiss and Zacher, 2022). The following report
will discuss about the ways to improve the organizational performance of BUNI Travels. It is a
UK based Travel agency headquartered in Bolton, England. It is engaged in the business of
Booking the tickets for travelling for various holiday destinations in multiple countries. This
report will explain the tools and techniques needed for improvement in organizational
performance. It will also discuss the impact of employee well-being in providing motivation and
increased productivity of business. Further, the PESTEL Analysis of BUNI Travels is also
provided in Appendix.
TASK
Tools and Techniques to improve organizational performance
It is inevitable to ensure maximum utilisation of human , functional as well as financial
resources of the business. The management of business should use different tools and techniques
to improve the performance of organization. As regards BUNI Travels, it is using traditional
techniques of performance evaluation that is resulting in ineffective organizational performance.
It should adopt the modern techniques of improvement such as Rewards and Recognition to
increase the productivity of its employees (Turner, Prasojo and Sumarwono, 2022). The Human
resource manager of BUNI Travels should use the below mentioned techniques and tools to
improve the performance of its business :
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) : It is a modern tool for measuring the
performance of individual business units, segments, departments and employees to
analyse the degree of their commitment in contributing to the overall objective of the
business while contributing to their individual goals. KPIs are used for decision making
and data based discussion of performance. Businesses should use it as a Performance
Evaluation tool rather than the tool for communication (Manogaran, Thota and Lopez,
