INTRODUCTION
Debate is process that consists the formal discourse on specific topic. In debate,
arguments are put forwards for opposing viewpoints. They have occurred historically in the
public meetings, debate halls, competitions and also academic institutions. There is a debate on
topic about "There is no ethics in business; the business of a business is business”. In the debate,
there is a group involved as in this one group is in against.
MAIN BODY
Group A (against)
Study of proper company rules and procedures surrounding potentially contentious
matters such as governance, insider trading, corruption, discrimination and fiduciary obligations
falls under the heading of business ethics. Business ethics are frequently guided by the
legislation, but they may also serve as a fundamental guideline that firms could choose to obey in
order to earn public favor. Customers and other types of market players have a fundamental
degree of confidence in firms, thanks to business ethics. Employee performance suffers as a
result of a lack of ethics. Workers in some circumstances are so focused with going ahead and
gaining money that they disregard procedures and policy. This can result in significant
documentation and thoughtless errors, requiring the task to be redone. Furthermore, employees
who believe that operating ethically and respecting the regulations would not propel them ahead
in the organization may experience a lack of energy, which can lead to a drop in productivity.
When a supervisor or businessperson demonstrates unethical conduct, he stands to lose the
confidence of his staff. Without well-respected leadership, it is difficult to run a successful firm.
An importance of leadership behavior can also lead to high employee resentment, with some
individuals despising those who do not follow the rules but yet continue to gain forward. Unfair
workplace behavior can also contribute to a lack of trust and mutual respect, which is harmful to
a business model based on teamwork and a feeling of purpose. If a company's lack of common
sense enters increasing understanding, that company's reputation suffers. While some
organizations are able to overcome public awareness of a lack of integrity by rebranding and
advertisements, many lose a critical consumer base. Even if a company rebounds from
revelations about its own lack of ethics, it will require a time and a lot of money to rebuild its
