1.0 Overview of the Organization
The Grand Chancellor is one of the most eminent hotels in Australian hotel industry
that has its operations in China, Malaysia, Australia, Singapore and New Zealand. It is an
organization that offers attractive accommodations for both leisure travelers and
contemporary business (Hotel Grand Chancellor 2019). In New Zealand and Australia, Hotel
Grand Chancellor is renowned as ten 4-4 ½ star hotels, that offers well-appointed
accommodations, event facilities as well as provides the facilities of extensive conferences,
with additional five venue catering that delegates for over 400.
The location, where the hotel is situated in Australia, is considered as hot-spot Palm
Cover area as well as within the cities of Melbourne, Hobart, Townsville, Launceston and
Brisbane. On the other hand, in New Zealand, the hotel is located at the Central Business
Districts of Auckland and Wellington. In Malaysia, the location is spread from Langkawi to
Kuching, considering six Hotel Grand Crystal and Hotel Grand Continental with relevant
properties and supportive offering range for the travelers. In China, Hotel Grand Chancellor
Sihui is located in Jade City that is close to Sihui, providing adequate corporate guests with
restaurant facilities and large conferences room. Thus, it can be stated that the respective
hospitality industry have its operations globally, offering huge employment opportunities.
An in-depth analysis has revealed that more than 6000 employees are appointed by the
organization. The mission of the company is to provide the hospitality services in a most
effective and appropriate manner, in order to satisfy the expectation and demands of guest.
The vision is to set highest standard of quality services, while upholding and justify the
reputations in the hospitality industry.
