1. Introduction:
With the development of technologies, the impact of departments like marketing and sales has been
serving as an essential element in companies. However, in order to make these departments work or for
businesses to operate efficiently, quality employees are needed, and this is why Human Resource
Management (HRM) standing is also important. In this report, Tien Phong Commercial Joint Stock Bank
(TPBank) will be used as an example to fully explain the vision and scope of HRM as well as its
importance in operating businesses, specifically in terms of providing and training employees with
sufficient or excellent skills to achieve the business goals of TPBank.
2. About the company:
2.1. Vision, mission, core value:
Tpbank, like every other company, has a vision and basic principles that it adheres to. It was founded in
May 2008 under the slogan "deeper understanding." The organization wanted to fully comprehend and
serve its clients. The compass that guides TPBank, the bank also offer the finest product, service, and
value for the consumer (2017).
2.1.1. Vision:
Tpbank's vision is to become one of the leading commercial bank in Vietnam.

2.1.2. Mission:
There are three main missions that Tpbank wants to fulfill
TPBank aims to create optimum financial products and services for consumers and partners by
using an innovative, modern, and highly efficient technology infrastructure. With the purpose of
generating shareholder value, TPBank operates on a transparent, secure, efficient, and long-term
platform.
To provides ideal living conditions for its employees and encourages their creativity as well as
career advancement.
For the benefit of human and national progress, TPBank is committed to social responsibility and
community initiatives.
2.1.3. Core value:
To function fluently, every company needs to have their own core value set. The same goes for TPBank.

3.1. Human resource management definitions
Human resource management is the process of hiring employees, which also includes training and
compensating them. HRM is also in charge of developing policies for the employees within companies
as well as strategies to retain them (LIB,2011) .
