Importance of Training and Career Development for Employee Performance

This presentation discusses the importance of career development and training for employee performance through two articles. The first article analyzes the impact of career development and training on employee performance using both qualitative and quantitative methods. The second article focuses on the relationship between career development and staff motivation in the South African petroleum sector. Both articles emphasize the importance of understanding employee demands and providing motivation to improve productivity. The presentation concludes that career development and training are essential for improving employee performance and reducing turnover.

• Both qualitative and quantitative methods
• SPSS analysis has been conducted which provided in-depth
analysis of the different effects of training and development

Argument:
• In this respective article, this has been analysed that both
Maslow and Herzberg theory is essential to be adopted by the
organizations as this will improve the morale of the employees
in an effective manner.
• The employee motivation along with the performance are the
two major indicators which helps in moving the business ahead
Conclusion:
• Therefore, this can be concluded that both career development
and training of the employees is essential in nature
• This highly influences the performance of the employees and
this enhances the performance of the employees and reduce
the turnover of the employees.

• The main aim of the article is relating to the analysis of
relationship between motivation provided to staffs
• Importance of career development in organizations for
growth of employees.

• The method which have been used in the respective article
is relating to qualitative self administered questionnaires

Argument:
• Analysing the different training programs along with
motivation which can be provided to employees as to
improve the overall productivity
• The constraints in the employee learning and career
development program can be reduced with the help of
improvement in the performance of employees and
organization as well.
Conclusion:
• Therefore, this can be concluded that employees are
motivated in the organizations as this will help in
improving the productivity of the organization
