INTRODUCTION The travel and tourism sector is on high boom across the globe. The travel and tourism sector have an significant impact on the economy of any country. The travel and tourism sector consider as a business which provide information, transportation, accommodation and other services to the tourists, it is an activity or practise for touring which performed on the basis of offering pleasurable services. The present study is covering the history and structure of tour and travel environment along with this it also reflect on various other key areas such as the regulatory frameworkoflocalandnationalgovernmentandtheimpactoftourismonthesocial, environmental and national factors. (Guttentag, 2015)
TASK 1 1.1: Development in travel and tourism sector In the early age, cultural aspects, learning languages and travelling challenges restricted (Capacci, Scorcu and Vici, 2015). Travel was also common from Magna Graceia—the areas in Southern Italy extensively populated by Greek settlers—to Greece for cultural exchange. In the fifth century BCE, the historian Herodotus travelled to Egypt, Tyre, and Babylon, writing about his journey. Therearevariouseventstake place in thehistory which make the the route for the development of the travel and tourism across theglobe.TheOlympicstarted over2700yearsagointhe Olympia which is situated in the south-west Greece. There arevarioustypesof accommodationwhich providedbythe organizations such as hotels, bed, resorts, apartments and so on. Informationand coordination,traveland tourismsectorshavemany othersubsectorswhich providesupportingservices to the tourist such are tour guides,tourisminformation centres,travelinsurance companies,outletsfor refreshments,councils, researchbodiesandtask forces.(Guttentag, 2015) Tour operators and travel agent, tour operators are those who form a package by producing holidays for the tourists. They form a negotiable package for the accommodation and all the other services. Travel agents mostly do their job by selling the brochures which consist with the package.(Michailidou, Vlachokostas and Moussiopoulos, 2016)
