facilities rapidly
Workforce shortage
In the case of expansion of production and distribution facilities by BMW in other
countries for the purpose of growing their business in global market faces many challenges in
which one of the important challenge i.e. workforce shortage (Kayl and et. al., 2017). It is
very obvious that organisation faces workforce shortage problem because they required
human resource in order to manufacture products for the expansion of production and
distribution facilities. Without workforce it is not possible.
Recruitment challenge
Whenever organisation expands their businesses in other countries then they have to
face recruitment challenge because the cultural and traditional differentiation comes in the
process of recruitment (Nair and Blomquist, 2019). Due to diversity in workplace, it becomes
difficult for BMW to recruit employees from local market where they want to expand their
business.
Poor teamwork
It becomes tough for BMW to manage team work because business practices of host
country are different from subsidiary. It is identified that generally organisation adopt those
business practices which is running in host country but sometimes it is not effective due to
diversities which leads to poor teamwork.
Lack of communication
Manager of BMW faces a problem of communication when their employees working
for their subsidiaries. Due to lack of communication, it maybe creates complex as well as

performance level.
