INTRODUCTION
Fast change force restructure of business and make change to retain their competitive
advantages. Changes normally makes product life cycles shorter that requires increased
investment in research and investment to maintain balanced portfolio of goods. The change
impact analysis is determined as identifying possible consequences of changes or estimating that
needs to modified to accomplish changes(Doppelt, 2017). This study is based on Tesco. It is
British multinational groceries and general merchandising supermarket in UK. This report will
explain impact of changes on organization's strategy and operations as comparing different
organizational. It will evaluate ways internal and external drivers of changes affects leadership,
team and individual behaviour within organization. It will evaluate negative impacts of changes
on organizational behaviour. Furthermore, report will explain different barriers for changes and
determine that influence on leadership decision making in organizational context. It will apply
different leadership approach to deal with changes and apply appropriate model.

There are many internal drivers of changes that includes capabilities, resources,
inventions, desire and dissatisfaction etc. that affects on operations and strategies of
organization.
Innovation: It includes internal drivers of changes that affects on organization.
Therefore, company adopt innovation for selling of goods and services to firm. Invention helps
in effective operation and strategies of the Tesco(Head and et.al., 2018). The changes in
innovation adopting by company that helps in increase profits and productivity in the retail
sector. Invention includes production and design of products and services.
Human resources: It is also internal drivers changes that affects on organization.
Effective human resources are helps in selling of goods and services of Tesco. It includes
commitment and reliability that affects on effective operations and strategies of organization.
With the help of HR, helps in increasing profits and productivity in retail sector.
Participants: It includes employees interaction that affects on overall organization.
Ineffective communication between workers that affects on operations and strategies of Tesco.

Therefore, company needs to effective interaction between staff that helps in improving
behaviour in the workplace.

sector. This also impact on decision of leadership, individual and team in the organization.
External drivers of changes:
There are many external drivers changes that affects on organization such as customer,
competitors, investors, government and technologies that affects on operations and strategies of
organization. These elements are also affecting on behaviour of leadership, team and individual
in the organization.
Competitors: It is the biggest driver of changes in organization. Competitors always
affecting on profits and revenues of Tesco. There are many challengers such as ASDA, etc.
Therefore, company needs to provide the best product and services to customer on affordable
price as compared to their competitors.
Customer: The biggest drivers changes in customers demand, taste and preferences,
needs and wants etc. that affects on operations and strategies of Tesco. Therefore, company
needs to focus on offering of products and services according to their customer needs and
demand that affects on operations and strategies of company. This also affects on behaviour of
leadership, team and individual in the Tesco.
M 1 Assess different drivers of changes
There are many drivers of changes such as policies, customer, competitors, employees
participants that are affecting on leadership, team and individual behaviour in the organization.
This affects on profits and productivity of Tesco and M&S.
P 3 Evaluating the measures that can be taken to minimise negative impacts of change on
organisational behaviour
Managing a change in an organisation is always difficult for the management. It is natural
that with the implementation of a change in organisation, the employee will get uncomfortable.
The employees may not be ready to cope up with changes. It can leads to create the negative
impact of change in the organisation. There can be negative impact of change on an organisation
especially on the performance of employees. In Tesco plc, with an implementation of a change
the employees. Employees may feel anxiety and uncertainty at the job. The type of reaction,

when a change is introduced is immense and unpredictable. Each employees will be affected
with a change, the management of the company has to manage the risk and the negative impact
of the change that can affect the performance of their employees.
To cope up with the negative impact of change in organisational behaviour of an
employee, it is important to apply an effective measures that can helps in reducing the impact of
changes. Some of this measures are:
Clearly defining the change: it is an important step in managing the impact of change.

The employees need to know how the change will help in increasing the productivity of
the company. It is essential for the employees to understand that the change is will help in

Determine the impact and those affected: once the management know the impact of
the change, the management will help in determine the impacts of the change at various
organisational levels. Review the effects on each business unit and how it interact

need to give training and support to the employees.

change in company, the above the steps will help in determine the need for the
communicating to the employees. The manager needs so determine the most effective

leadership that will help the firm to carry out the operations in much suitable and
effective manner. This will also help the fir to have a good and significant share of the

organization. They will give their contributions and output to the firm and thus will lead
to the superior rise in he effectiveness of the firm.
