INTRODUCTION
Operation management is the administration of business practices in order to create the
greatest and highest level of effectiveness within the organization. This very important and
effective department of manufacture industry which is help to maintain quality of products. The
operation management have different functions which are helpful for business and owner for
managing process of produce goods and services at manufacture industry. This involves
planning, coordinating, controlling and organizing resources which are needed to produce.
Companies operation is included Logistic management which is the part of supply chain
management which plans implement a control the efficient or effective forward (Gregson,
2017). This includes a storage of goods and services which are related with information betwixt
origin point and point of consumptions to meet customers requirements. On the other side,
managing quality of product is very important part of industry. The managing quality is the
another approach of manage products at market place in effective manner. Managing people in
operation and supply chains is very important for supply chain management of industry. The
essay mainly focused on management quality for TOYOTA manufacturing company and
different aspects of managing peoples in organization.

is believes for develop mutually beneficial by creating long term relationship based on mutual
trust with all suppliers. In that company have to make strategy to maintain their quality of
product in keeping long term relations with customers. This is another important elements which
creates more effective work. Recently company is faced issues which are related to their supply
chain management system and quality of products in that company decide to take return their
products from market. As per that company renowned products as per customers requirements.

Managing quality is the important and effective act which is overseeing all the activities
and tasks which are needed to maintain a desired level of excellence. This includes various
determinations of quality policy, creation and application of the best quality planning with proper
assurance to control the quality and quality improvement within the company. The company
currently face various problems and challenges with their quality management process. Toyota
faces the biggest problem is its damaged reputation caused by the sudden acceleration which
recalls, a million in the government fines and massive lawsuits and various adjustment (The
biggest problem facing Toyota, 2019). The company is hurting most is an aging line-up of boring
cars. For that company needs to manage their products quality in effective manner by using Total
quality management. This approach is based on the concept of customers first and managing
continuous improvement as well as total participations that means involvement and inputs if all
employees. For the continuous improvement for Toyota motor company here is select Shewhart's
PDCA cycle. This support to continuous improvement. The have four stages which are plan-do-
check-act.
The first stage is plan is considered with three steps, first is identification of problem
here management find the problem in their production process. Second is problem analysis, here
management analysis problem like the related to which and the problem is quality management.
Third is developing an experiment is a viable process where management think about experiment
like process and adding new feature. The second stage of approach is Do, is the best stage where
management tests the solutions are best or not. The management is decided to recall products
form market stores and done medical test of each product (Baker, Croucher and Rushton, 2017).
The third stage is Check review the experiment and analyse results. Here, management is check
their result and performance is best and appropriate or not in the proper manner. Last stage, is
Act, take action which are based on what learned in the study like the changes are works or not
and go through the cycle again with a different plan. This is completely best for Toyota company
to improve their products through continuous improvement process.
On the other side, for managing quality of product and services, here is use ISO 9000
principles of quality management which are based on 7 principles. That senior management can
be applied to promote organizational improvement. The first principle of this model is customer

focus, this helps to understand the needs of existing and future customers through that company
is able to make best and effective products as per customer requirements as well as help to
manage customers relationships (Christopher, 2016). Leadership, is the second principle of ISO
which is established a vision and direction for organization, establish trust, model for creating the
best organization values in order to achieve goals and objectives of Toyota company. This
creates more effectiveness by providing the best direction to employees and staff of company
related to production process.

abilities that are used and valued for the business. Employees are engaged properly then they are
