IntroductionIt is very crucial to understand the environment in which the business operates. Theenvironment directly affects the location, pricing, distribution, policies and nature. Thisenvironment is composed of economic and socio-cultural aspects, political and legal frameworksand the underlying technological aspect. These factors and forces are beyond the control of theenterprise and affect its functioning. It also considers the factors like customers, suppliers andcompetitors. The business environment is subjective to changes and is very unpredictable. This isdifferent depending on the place, region and country. The proper understanding helps the enterprise to grow by determining the threats andopportunities while giving a direction for growth. It ensures continuous learning and enhancesimage promotion. It also prepares the company to analyse the competitor’s strategy whileformulating their own. It also apprises of the strengths and weaknesses of the company. Thetypes of business environment will be discussed in detail in the given assignment.Task1LO1P1 Explanation of the different types of business organisation and the growth of theirbusiness environmentBusiness organisation main goal is to work collaboratively with the management and theemployees to add profit and increase the brand image of the business and its services or products.The business organisation’s working principle is also different from one another with variousobjectives that are maintained towards fulfilling the decision-making process (Storey, 2016). Thedifferent types of business organisations include Public, the Private and Voluntary businessorganisation. The legal structure of these companies is further decided based on their ownershipthat is dependent on the way to control the business environment, finances received, and thedistribution of profits. The structures involve sole-proprietorship, limited and partnership. Private organisation3

The private organisation works for the sole purpose of accruing profit for the companythat have no share in the government or others. As per Ronit and Schneider (2013, p.43), thisorganisational sector is a part of the national economy that is maintained by private professionaland other private ventures. Moreover, this sector has vast operations on the national as well asthe international market. A very good example of this type of organisation is Virgin Atlantic.Legal structure involves-Sole-proprietorship- This structure of private organisation involves the companies thatare owned by the single owner. This type of structure has fewer employees or none and the entireresponsibility is on the owner. The liability of the business is entirely dependent on the owner(gov.uk, 2016). Bookkeeping and landscaping can serve as a good example for these kinds ofbusiness organisations.Limited company- This structure involves the joint-stock companies those involves adifferent legal identity apart from the owners. These are main operated with the help of fundsfrom its shareholders. Moreover, their legal structure is also maintained per the rules andregulations set by the government for this type of private organisation (gov.uk, 2016). IcelandLtd. can serve as a good example for limited company.Partnership- This structure involves different individuals ranging from 2 to 20 membersthat are all associated with the decision making and successful running of the company. Theyhave a deed of partnership and all the partners of the company (gov.uk, 2016) bore the liability.Greenergy International Limited can be taken as an example for the private organisation. Public OrganisationThe public organisation works on the value for acquiring profit for the government andincreases the nation’s economy. As per Kuipers et al. (2014, p.8), they also work to provideservices to the people of the nation and works for their betterment. Moreover, their purpose is toraise the country's gross domestic product (GDP) rate. These types of organisations are mainlymaintained by the government itself and the ways to operate them are solely dependent on othergovernment official’s decision. Civil service fast stream can be used as an example for publicorganisation.Legal structure involves-Limited company- this structure for a public company involves the trade of the part oftheir share into the international share market like the London Stock Exchange and others. Kim, et al. (2013, p.100), the liability of loss or profit directly affect the company as well as theshareholders.Partnership- this structure includes a cooperative partnership of the government with theone or many private companies. As commented by Savas and Savas (2000, p.31), these involvethe equal importance and liability of the government and the concerning public organisation'smanagement in running the business successfully.AstraZeneca can be taken as an example for the private organisation.Voluntary OrganisationThe voluntary organisations are also termed as the third sector that looks after thebetterment of the social values of the people. As said by Lundberg (2012, p.321)theseorganisation mainly focuses on the betterment and improvement of their services to the peopleand their positive response is the profit for their organisation. Moreover, these organisations aremainly maintained by the findings from the different government institutions, society andcommunity groups, etc. A board of voluntaries maintains voluntary organisation those areunpaid, moreover, this is an autonomous body of the government. A very good example for suchan organisation is National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.Legal structure involves-Unincorporated- these involve the voluntary organisations those solely controlled by asingle owner jointly or by several persons. Moreover, they do not have a framework or legalstructure unless it provides charity. This structure does not involve any kinds of running cost(communityimpactbucks.org.uk, 2016) Incorporated- these involve the voluntary organisation those have a limited personalliability. The owner of the property is the organisation itself. These have a perfect legal structurethat is made abide by the legislation and the policies of the government(communityimpactbucks.org.uk, 2016).
