Convincing arguments: Talent management implication is within hospitality firm in the

P6: Reflection
I am overwhelming to get an opportunity to conduct a research based on the topic of
Talent management which is a wider and important concept in the context of growth and success
of an organisation in competitive market environment (Sheehan and Garavan, 2018). Conducting
research facilitate me to get an adequate knowledge about the role and contribution of Talent
Management towards achievement of organisational goals and objectives. During carrying out
research, I have faced various kinds of issues related with time, funds and support from team
members. Lack of funds and time restrict me to gather relevant information from large number of
respondents. Apart from this, I have obtained an adequate knowledge about using research
methods along with its importance such as primary methods provides accurate and reliable data
but taking more time as compared with secondary research method. After facing different kinds
of situations during carrying out research, I am able to achieve pre-determined research aims and
objectives. Somewhere during collection of data, I found lacking of some skills such as
communication, time management etc. due to which I decide to engage in development programs
by which I can improve such lacking skills (Taylor, 2018).
P7: Illustrate alternative research methodologies and lessons learnt in view of the outcomes
Questionnaire is adopted for assembling the data for the research project. This is because
the allotted time duration was limited and this method provide best way to accumulate opinions
of distinguish communicator at a time. However, in the year future if I get a chance to be part of
research again I will prefer interview as alternate method. I will select interview because through
face to face conversation in-depth information can be collected and questions easily. As well; as
questions can be modified according to the situation and more closely their view point can be
better understood regarding the topic (Urbancová and Vnoučková, 2018).
CONCLUSION
From the above research report it can be concluded that talent management plays a vital
role in making the business successful among its rivalry prevailing in the open market place.
