Talent management refers to as, commitment to hire, develop, recruit and retain the most
talented staff members present in the market of job (Brannen and Tietze, 2017). This plays a
vital role in making the business successful in the global market. Proper talent management helps
the organization to gain competitive advantages against rivalry which is a positive mark for the
business. It directly or indirectly assist in getting suitable results as compare to competitors
prevailing in the open market place. On the other hand it is very essential to maintain talent in
the working premises in order to accomplish their set goals and objectives in the set deadline.
Sheraton Hotel is selected for the completion of the research project. This leading business is a
international hotel chain owned by Marriott International. It was founded in the year 1937 by
Ernest Henderson, Robert Lowell Moore and Robert Moore. It is located in White Plains, United
States. Talent management will be more beneficial because it aid in holding back potential
workers and enhances their skills which are needed to perform their job role effectively.

Talent management is a unified tactic used by business associates in order to make
optimum use of human assets in proper manner so as to meet the desire outcome in the set time
span. In the competitive era there are distinguish approaches which can be executed by business
administration for the application of talent management at the work place (Bunce and Jones,
2017). Along with this staff members are prepared to deal with upcoming challenges. However,
continuous monitoring is done of employees performance, training sessions are conducted timely
and many more in order to make necessary improvements in the loop holes. Sheraton Hotel is
undertaken fore the research report. There are 441 hotels worldwide and staff members are
working day and night to meet the expectation level of the customers on priority level. Talented
workers are retained in the working premises in order to service high quality goods and services
to their targeted customers. By this goodwill can be raised in the eyes of the customer which is a
positive mark for the business.

This study is studied in order to better understand how talent management helps in raising
organization productivity as a whole (Chung and D’Annunzio-Green, 2018). Proper management
of the talent helps the firm to gain competitive advantages in the open market place. By
providing them proper training and development and growth opportunities talented candidate can
be retained easily in the working premises.

Importance of Talent management on productivity of organisation
According to Ashley Brooks, 2019, talent management plays a vital role in making the
business successful in the open market place. Through this organization is able to accomplish the
set goals and objectives in the specified time duration. Proper management of talent can be done
in the working premises by providing them huge growth opportunity in their carrier graph as
well as providing them positive working atmosphere.

Challenges faced during implementation of Talent Management practices and their
probable solutions.
From the view point of Andre, 2015 managing talent in the working premises is not a
easy task. Various challenges are faced by the HR of the firm in order to hold back talented
employees for longer time duration (Collings and Cascio, 2019). The HR policies need to be
modified according to dynamic environment as well as proper appreciation policies need to be
drawn so that they can be forced to stay back and the issues which emerged because of talent
management can be resolved easily.
Relation between application of talent management and organisational productivity.
As per Cora Llamas, 2018 the application of talent management at workplace is directly
related to productivity of firm because productive outcomes can be gained when skilled and
potential employees will be working for it. In effective workers come up with unproductive
outcomes which directly affect their overall workforce efficiency and productivity.

that are qualitative and quantitative. With quantitative investigation method there are various
methods are utilised by investigator to gather information. It is also important for organisation to
use this method that gather information to present facts for providing right and efficient
information to customers (El-Kassar and Singh, 2019). Moreover, by using facts and figures
task and objectives which are presented by company leads a firm to achieve top position in
market.
