workers
Interpersonal skills which are required for the non direct care workers are:
Verbal communication skill
•This is a significant skill through which non direct care worker can
communicate and interact with residents.
•This skill helps them in understanding the issue and problem of resident so
that non direct care worker can take decision regarding services of residents.
•This includes speaking and listening skills of the individual.

•This includes body language, gestures, dressing sense, presentation skill and
personal space.
•This skill assists the non direct care worker in communicating information,
messages and words to individuals.
•This skill helps the care workers in transferring information and message to
residents in an effective and efficient manner.

Role of non direct workers in operation of a
team
Some roles of non direct care worker in the operations of a team are:
•Providing integrated services
•Non direct care workers have major role in the operations of team to provide
integrated services to residents.
•In the operations of team, all team members work for delivering high quality
of care services to residents so that they will share their knowledge,
information and idea regarding services.
