This report assesses various aspects related to human resources management function at Vodafone Group Plc (herein after referred to as Vodafone). It includes discussion about purpose and function of HRM in workforce planning and resourcing. It also discussed different recruitment and selection approaches within company and their strengths and weaknesses. Effectiveness of different HRM practises in raising organisational profit and productivity are also discussed below. Discussion about importance of employee relations and application of employment legislation is also discussed below. In the final part of the report, illustration of application of HRM practises in a work-related context are provided.
