INTRODUCTION
Organization success through high performance of employees plays important role in
progress of world economy. The present report highlights importance of developing skills and
knowledge that contribute in development of UK economy. High performance refers to increase
in productivity of employees. In addition to this, it is very essential for every type of business to
use approaches to improve perform of its employees for enhancement of its competitiveness. The
chosen company in present report is Unilever. In addition to this, Unilever is British
multinational company of consumer goods. It offers variety of products such as pharmaceutical,
consumer health care and eatables items, etc. The current report describes skills and attributes
require by Hr professionals, Personal SWOT analysis as an assistant manager HR development.
With addition to this, it also elaborates personal development plan for skills improvement. The
current report represents analysis of CPD and its importance in Unilever. The particular report
explains HPW and its contribution in employees’ engagement and commitment. The current
report shows approaches for performance management and ways to improve high working
performance of Unilever’s employees.

TASK 1
P1. Analysis of skills and attributes required by HR professionals in Unilever
There are several skills that established companies expect to have in assistant manager
HR development of the organization. In addition to this Unilever is large scale organization
which anticipate HR professional to consist various skills that enhance its productivity and
profitability (Michael, 2019). With respect to this, HR of the company to be very organized
regarding its procedure of handling employees of firm. Further being organized for each
departments activity is considered to be essential for smooth functioning of business.
In aspect to this, being multitasking and able to deal with any issue of organization is
important attribute of professionals. Further, there are several departments which have different

roles so being capable to guide and direct each employees is basic skill require by organization
from HR professionals. Furthermore, successfully dealing with negotiation to tackle and resolves
issues of firm. With respect to this, Unilever recruits those HR professionals who have ability to
understand problems of employees and solving them in ethical manner shows high-quality
attribute of personnel management (Tooranloo, Azadi and Sayyahpoor, 2017). Additionally,
analyzing qualities and lacking areas of workers is foremost skill predictable from personnel
executive so that change management strategy can be effectively implemented. Additionally, it is
require conduct related training and development programs so that staff feels motivated and
enthusiastic regarding their job and better productivity could be achieved.
P2. Personal SWOT analysis
SWOT analysis help the organization, individual and group to access strength, weakness,
opportunity and threats. In addition to this, it assist person to evaluate weakness and threats so
that corrective major actions can be taken to tackle it (Puyt and et.al., 2020). Further, it aid to
identify strengths and opportunity in turn better advantages can be achieved for effective
performance.
Strengths
It is analyzed that hiring strategy fits the Unilever as more focused given on suitable
skills for quality performance of organization.
Further, leadership skill proved to be very effective for the management of different roles
of employees
Additionally, it is evaluated that experience and knowledge helped as strength for
conducting training and development.
In addition to this, communication skills aid me to conduct enhanced recruitment process
so that quality performance employees are hired.
Weakness
From the analysis it is identified that I was not able to perform business recruitment
process according to estimated budget of Unilever
Furthermore, low employee morale and high turnover rate due to lack understanding and
more consumption of time for identification of issues of personal problems of workers
