Lewin change Model
The Lewin change model includes 3 steps through which an organisation goes through when implementing the change and these are:
Unfreezing: In this step the organization unfreezes its old habit of performing the activities. In this step the organisation stops performing the activities in their old
way. As in the case with hotel Residence Inn they have initiated a new change in their technological system. For this they will make the organization understand about
the habits which they need to get changed and how the new technology would help them in attaining more productivity.
Change: In this step the organization tries to bring the required change into the system. In this the Residence Inn hotel will bring the technological change in their
system. At some point they may face various resistances for the employees but they need to surmount all these issues. Some of these issues can get solved through
providing the training and development program to the employees so that they understand the need for change.
Freeze: At this step the organisation employees get a habit of performing the task in the new way and when they get habitual of that, the organization freezes the
change. As in relation with the Hotel Residence Inn the change which has been initiated by the organization will get fixed in the habits of the employees, that means
every employees of the organization would use the new technology in their operational activities.
