INTRODUCTION
Food & Beverage industry consist of production as well as distribution of services related
to the the food. Nowadays, it is one of those sector which is growing rapidly. This industry
basically analyse the requirements of people in the market and then set their objectives to meet
customers needs (Chand and Kapoor, 2014). The current report includes the different form of
businesses within food industry. The current as well as future trends that impacts food &
beverage industry is also going to discuss in this report. With this, the management skills
required to serve good offerings to customer is covered in this present report. Moreover, the legal
requirements & standards that food and beverage industry follows in order to maintain good
relations with subordinates and customer is going to describe in detail. Later, it covers factors
which impacts decision of customers within these industry.

The food & beverage industry involves various types of sectors which attains companies
to grow and raises their revenue level. As this sectors also helps F&B industries to compete with
competitors effectively (Davis, 2018). Below are some of the types of businesses which is a
major part of food and beverage industry are as follows:

Entertainment: Entertainment sector plays vital role within food & beverage industry as
it attracts large audiences towards an organisation which directly enhance the level of sales as
well as revenue of these industries. In today's world, customers are not only looking for
accommodation or for the food but they are also looking for entertainment which includes game
zone, shopping stores, clubbing and so on (DeFranco and Schmidgall, 2019). This facilities
increases the profitability of companies as they easily gain customer loyalty.
Accommodation &Lodging: This sector basically assist luxury hotels to raises their
sales and revenue by offering facilities such as snacks, complementary breakfast and many more.
This sector is totally transform its services which aid travellers to gain good experience from
Hotels in which they stay.
Food & Beverages: It is one of the vital sector within the hospitality industry as it
involves large number of services such as restaurants, catering services, outlets and many more.
With this, Food & Beverage industry have wide customer base as well as loyal customers.
P2. Different rating systems used nationally & internationally by good and beverage industry.
There are several kinds of rating system which food & beverage industry used at national
a well as internationally are as follows:
One star rating: It includes those hotels which offers basic service to customers refer as
one star rating Industry. These Hotels mainly emphasise on satisfying customer basic needs by
their goods and services. In addition to this, one star rating hotels did not give additional
facilities to the customers (Donnelly, 2016). They basically targets those peoples who comes
under middle class and cannot afford to take services from luxury hotels.
Two star rating: This hotels is almost similar to one star ratings and targets middle class
societies. It gives extra facilities which includes dining area, Television and many more. The
price of two star rating hotels is slightly high as compare to one star rating hotels. The customer
who prefer to get extra services like restaurants. Televisions in rooms takes the service from this
type of Hotels.
Three star rating: In these type of hotels, the customer get services such as valet
parking, large room sixes, complementary breakfast, meeting rooms etc. Their services is
superior than two star rating hotels. It offers additional benefits to customers which attracts them
to use their services. It involves services like Fitness centres, Club house, gym and many more.
