their employees to meet International requirements.
INTRODUCTION
Globalisation refers to the process that assist the companies to enter into international
market to carry out their business activities. The multinational companies are those which
operates their functions in different countries to enhance their profitability by performing their
day to day operations (5 benefits of international expansion. 2017). This study is based on Nestle
which is involved in food processing industry operating in different countries and provide
products such as baby food, coffee, dairy products, ice cream etc. This research study will
provide understanding about the research requirement of multinational companies regarding
recruitment, selection and training of their employees to meet the international requirement. It
will include the aims and objectives which will be framed on the basis of the topic provided.
Also, it will provide the research methods used for conducting this research.

P1 Description on project aims and objectives for chosen topic.
Globalisation defined as process that refers as to intensification of economies, social,
political and cultural relations across international boundaries (Venkateswar and
Bandyopadhyay, 2016). The main aim of this is to deal with increasing breakdown of trade
barriers and also enhance integration of various firm to meet international requirements.
Therefore, it can be stated that international trade and cross border investment flows are crucial
elements of this integration. With help of being globalised, the multinational firm can have
expansion in profitability and productivity.
The present report is based on to determine the impact that how multinational companies
improve the recruitment, selection and training of their employees to meet International
requirements. Without being globalised, the firm cannot run its activities effectively. This report
will help the researcher to get the depth insights about the impact of globalisation on working of
enterprise. Therefore, aims and objectives of this research topic has been formulated as-
Aim: The main aim of this research report is “To Investigate the ways to improve the
recruitment, selection and training methods to meet international requirement.” With
reference to case study of Nestle.

Secondary Aim- The main aims is “To explore the challenges of multinational enterprise to
implement the process globalisation in order to meet international requirements.
Objectives-
 To articulate the concept of globalisation and its impact on multinational corporation.
 To determine the beneficial aspects of globalisation over the working of multinational
enterprises.
 To recommend suggestive measures to provide better ways to improve recruitment,
selection and training methods in order to have international expansion.
P2 Define project management plan that includes time, cost, communication and quality.
The project management plan is a document that defines each phase of project. There are
number of component and these are as initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling
and closing. In addition to it, it is formal and approved document that aids to conduct, monitored
and controlled. These are defined in below contexed manner as-
Scope- The main aim of project management plan is to determine the impact of multinational
companies improve the recruitment, selection and training of their employees to meet
International requirements (Waddell, 2017.). Thus, all activities are must be competed within the
set deadline. In this, aims and objectives of project are needed to be focused so that all functions
relates to research can be carried out specifically.
Cost- The estimation of cost is crucial in order to carry out research activities. It is core part of
project management plan. To carry out the research activities effectively, the project cost will be
as £50000. Thus, it should be frame with inclusion of expenses, resource cost etc. It is must be
broken down into the labour cost, impact of assets and direct expenses etc. with help of
estimation of cost the project management activities can be carried sown effectively.
Time- The all activities in project must get completed within the set deadline. Thus, schedule
must be framed with help of tools as identifying variables, due dates, key information like budget
etc. In addition to it, deadlines and deliverables are needed to be made so that team members be
assured to competed it. To get this project done, researcher will take 40 days.

Quality- The research report quality must be maintained and all things needs to be controlled
and monitored before final submission. Therefore, it is essential to maintain the relatability of all
information.
Communication- The communication is essence to carry out all activities effectively. In
addition to it, project performance documentation aids to provide relevant information to
stakeholder. Thus, all information relates with project must be given to person associated with
this report.
Resources- The number of resources will be requires as man, labour, capital etc. This all leads to
carried out activities effectively and efficiently. Thus, formulation of better team member is also
considered as essential component.
Risk management- This is activities that relates with collecting in-depth information and it
mainly affects the varied project variables and individual feasibility. Therefore, risk management
plan must be framed so that all activities can be carried out effectively.

This is term that is defined as project management and system with help of it deliverable

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
The research methods are the techniques which are used for gathering the information
regarding the topic and assist in analysing the topic to identify the conclusion derive by
conducting the research. The following are the different research methodologies :
Research Type
There are different types of research which consist of qualitative and quantitative
research. The qualitative research type in which the different views and opinions of the
individuals are undertaken to conduct the research (Kumar, 2019). Another type of research is
quantitative which consist use of numerical figures for understanding the research. The
quantitative research take use of data in terms of numbers to identify the various information
regarding the study (Alvesson and Sköldberg, 2017). For conducting the research, the researcher
will use qualitative research in which it will use the views of individuals for identifying the
various in formation regarding the study.
Qualitative research method : This type of research include the use of opinions and views of
the respondents to collect the inofmration regarding the subject matter.
Quantitative research method : It include the use of numerical figures regarding the
information colllected to provide better understanding about the research and the topic.
Research approach
It is the plan and procedure that consist of the steps which includes assumptions
regarding methods of collection, analysis and interpretation. There are two types of research
approach which consists of inductive and deductive approach. Inductive approach includes the
observation based on research questions to narrow the scope of study. Deductive approach start
with hypothesis which aims at testing the theory (Ledford and Gast, 2018). But the inductive
approach is concerned with generating anew theory based on information gathered. In this
research, the researcher will use inductive approach for conducting the study in order to identify
the in- depth information regarding the study.

Research philosophies
It is the belief about the way in which the data about the phenomenon is gathered ,
analysed and used. The research philosophy deals with the source, nature and development of
knowledge. There are two types of research philosophies which consist of interpretivism and
positivism philosophy (Flick, 2015). interpretivism is based on qualitative and provide
understanding of the research on the basis of theory. Whereas, positivism is based on quantitative
and includes the discussion on the basis of real fact and figures which are included in the data.
Data collection
It is the methods which are used for collecting the data regarding the study. The data
collection methods are used by researcher for gathering the in- depth information regarding the
study through use of different sources. There are two methods of data collection which consist of
primary and secondary (Taylor, Bogdan and DeVault, 2015). Primary research is conducted in
which the researcher gather the first hand information through use of survey and questionnaire
of through use of interviews. . In this study, The researcher will use the both the methods of data
collection in which it will use the primary data that will use the questionnaire for gathering the
in-depth information. Secondary data will be collected by researcher through use of books and
journals. In this report, researcher has used Primary data collection method is used to identify the
views of the respondents by collecrting the information thorough inteviews and surveys this
method is useful beaucse it assist in gathering the in-depth information about the research.
secondary method consist of the views of the authors and the researchers whihc have idebntified
the information before to provide knoeldge and understanding to other researcher. The
qualitaitve primary research method include the observation od the results whihc is qualtitveve
anlysis. whereas the questionare is usedin the research whihc ibnclude the numerical figures
whihc is quantitiative priamnry research method.
Sampling
It is process in which the statistical analysis is used to collect the sample from the large
population. There are two methods of collecting samples which consist of probabilistic and non-
probabilistic. In the probabilistic sampling the simple random sampling is used in which the
samples are collected on the random basis from the large population (Silverman, 2016). Thus,
sampling is classified into categories as simple random sampling, stratified, cluster, multistage
and systematic sampling.

Whereas, non- probabilistic sampling consist of purposive sampling in which individual in the
population are not provided with equal chance of being selected in the sample. For conducting
this research, the researcher will have the use the simple random sampling in which it will collect
the sample of 30 respondent as employees. Under it, subset of population has an equal
probability of being chosen. Thus, sample of respondents selected randomly in order to justify
the choice within the research.
Data analysis
It is the process of analysis the data gathered by inspecting, transforming the data to
identify the useful information for the research study. By analysing the data which assist in
making the supporting decision through use of that information which is gathered. There are two
methods of analysing the data which consist if thematic and SPSS. Thematic analysis is done
which uses qualitative study in which it uses the respondents views and opinions. . In this study,
The researcher will use thematic analysis for analysing the data through use of in- depth
information and results provided through respondents views.
Ethical consideration
It refers to the ethics, norms and standards which must be followed by researcher while
conducting the research. The ethical consideration is required for carry out the research and it
includes the protecting the information provided by the respondents and maintaining
confidentiality (Mackey and Gass, 2015). For carrying this research, the researcher will take the
informed consent of the respondents for disclosing the information provided by them.

From the above research paper it can be concluded about the research methodologies

and sampling methods that are been used in this study. Moreover, the research has shown that it
is required that company provide training to their employees for increasing their knowledge and
skills. Also, the research has provided information about the globalisation which is related to

From the above report, the suggestive measures in context to identify ways to improve

given on following grounds as-
 Nestle should adopt expansion at global level, as it helps to get access to large number of
customers. Therefore, it leads to have enhancement in profitability and productivity.
 The globalisation expansion aids to grow job opportunities to people in different
countries. With help of it, entity can able to reach potential candidates and new talent so
that better and effective culture can be framed out.
 The global expansion of Nestle supports to have improvement in its reputation. The
international presence will be beneficial to do the all things in effective and efficient
manner.
 The firm operation can be able to expand at international level and it also leads to
diversify assets with help of global expansion.
 Nestle should adopt expansion of business activities at global level as it aids to gain a
competitive advantage within market.

P7 Reflection on value of undertaking research to meet objectives.
The present report is based on to determine the impact of multinational companies
improve the recruitment, selection and training of their employees to meet International
requirements. In this, I have used number of research methodologies to conduct the research
activities in appropriate manner. Thus, I have used research philosophy so that it aids to interpret
the elements of study in precise mode. On the other hand, I have used inductive approach as it
aids to determine the prediction, forecasting the behaviour of individuals. Therefore, I have used
descriptive research strategy so that depth information can be gathered.
Under it, primary data collection method has been used to gather first hand information.
In order to conduct it properly, I have used sample random technique with the sample size of 30

respondent as employees to carry out better observation. To make it more effectively, I have
used qualitative technique so that better analysis and interpretation can be conducted.
In this research, I have used qualitative technique with help of thematic presentation so that
better and effective data can be conducted. Therefore, I could also have the use of SPPS tool so
that reliable and authentic data could have achieved. During my research my strength was my
team leading ability and understanding of theories and practice being used. On other hand my
weakness was that I was not able to gather proper information on the topic which was allotted to
me. I have identified that how to formulate team and work with them all so that team objective
could be achieved on time. However, I would like to improve my data collection skills so that I
could not be finding it difficult in the future.
