3. Introduction
This project is to design and develop a smart application which is used to detect the
excesses shock based on accelerometer and orientation data of the phone sensor because the
AB private limited is a one of smart application development company and this company is
currently working on project is to design and develop a smart application to detect the
excesses shock. So, we are requires to use IBM blue mix because it is one of the best
application development platform which is used to develop a smart application by using the

IBM NODERRED system and IBM Watson IoT platform dashboard. These are will be
discussed and analysed in detail.
4. Step by Step process to Configure and Deploy the Applications
4.1 IBM NODERED
To design and develop a smart application on IBM blue mix, first we needs to create
the smart application on Internet of things platform which is used to create the smart
application on Node red systems by using the below steps.
First, search the Internet of thing platform starter and open the Internet of things
platform starter which is established as below (Sankaranarayanan, 2016).

Here, we will create the smart application by type the app name as smart application iot
which is demonstrated as below.
And, also choose the internet of things platform and at last click the create to create
the smart application which is represented as below.

This process is used to create the smart application which is illustrated as below. After, we
will click the visit app URL.
The URL like is used to provide the Node – Red applications starting window which is
presented as below (Ibm Redbooks., 2015).

Then, secure a NODERED editor. It is established as below.
After, we will finish the configuration of NODERED which is illustrated as below.
