3. Introduction
Main objective of this project is to design and develop a smart application to detect
the excesses shock based on accelerometer and orientation data of the phone sensor because
the AB private limited is a smart application development organization. This organization is
currently working on project to develop a smart application to detect the excesses shock. So,
we need to use IBM blue mix to create a smart application by using the IBM Node - Red
system and IBM Watson IoT platform dashboard. These are will be discussed and analysed in
detail.
4. Step by Step process to Configure and Deploy the Applications
4.1 IBM NODERED
First, we will use the Internet of things Starter to get started with IBM Watson IoT
platform using the Node-RED Node.js application by using the below steps.
First, we need to search the Internet of thing platform starter and open the Internet of
things platform starter which is demonstrated as below.

After, we will enter the App name as smart appIoT which is illustrated as below.
Here, we will choose the internet of thing platform and click create to create the smart
application which is illustrated as below.

After, we will see the created the smart application and click the visit app URL.
Then, we will see the Node – Red applications starting window which is illustrated as below.

Then, finish the node – red configuration which is illustrated as below.
