3. Introduction
AB private limited is a smart phone application development firm and in this project we shall
goal is to build and design a smart phone application for them which by using the orientation
of the phone data sensor and the accelerometer will identify the excesses shocks. They have
been doing research and development in the field of detection of excess shock by making use
of a smart phone application. We shall be making use of the dashboard, IBM Watson IoT

platform and the IBM Node - Red system, to develop this smart phone application by
utilising the IBM blue mix.
We shall be analysing and evaluating the above subject in detail.
4. Step by Step process to Configure and Deploy the Applications
4.1 IBM NODERED
We shall get started by using the Internet of things Starter and by making use of the Node-
RED Node.js application on the IBM Watson IoT platform as per the following steps.
We shall begin with opening the Internet of things platform starter after searching and
locating for the same on the web.
