MAIN BODYwhat learning at university involves and expectations of students from it.Learning at university affect the improvement in knowledge of student as universitiesfills the gape between university and high school knowledge. The learning program prepared byuniversities designed to meet the requirement of students learning and make them ready toachieve success. Universities program helps to develop their skills and make students to adoptthe style of universities learning. The courses designed in universities represents higherknowledge then high school as learning in universities is done through seminars style class,tutorials and lectures. Through these programs the study skills in individual gets increased andenhance the abilities for critical reading and project works (Montague and Jitendra, 2018). Thelearning programs at universities teaches students to develop and build their knowledges relatedto language skill, as it helps the students in UK to overcome their fears related to Englishlanguages and able to improve their way of communication. With everyday reading and writingpractise in English language students improve skills and ability for speaking, reading andwriting. The student increases its potentials and capabilities when it meets the eligibility criteria. Expectations from university learning The expectations of students from university learning are more as students mostly expectsthat university learning will help to improve the career prospects for students in future. Theexpectation that I prefer to is to get highly qualified and peer mentors for assessing studentssettle in university. With the help of support and direction given to students it will improve theway of learning at the university. I prefer that students can be given practical and conceptuallearning programs rather then theoretical knowledge which will increases the perception ofstudent in much broader way. As learning in past was based on theoretical knowledge in highschool which was a narrow concept for student. Experiences from university learning Higher educational institution learning opens the minds of students to see the world withthe view of an birds eye that is with broader perspective. These things will generate much moredifference related to learning from past experience to students entering in university. The
expectation of students to get the knowledge that will help students to get experience ofemployability, management of finance, academic and personalised support(Fraser, 2018). Keen areas for learning at universities.The learning areas which students prefers should be present in universities are that thelearning should be of high quality in academic and different varieties of courses should beoffered to students(Popoola and et.al., 2018). The professor and teacher should have teachingcapabilities in different fields. I prefer that other then academic education the students shouldalso get co-curriculum knowledges. As it will increases students skills make them to improvetheir personality. The students should have choices to choose their area of interest which willhelp them to survive in real world. Universities can motivate students and can offer withdifferent opportunity to build the career of students. Universities can offers digital learningprograms as part of class room teaching. The courses that student choose should make themeligible for getting job in future.
