INTRODUCTION 1.1 Overview of the researchHospitality sector is the growing industry so it is to be taken into consideration for theresearch. Technology is one of the main factors which play a crucial role in each and everyindustry without which no one can survive in the competitive business environment (Bickerton,2015). In the hospitality sector growth and development of highly depends upon the level of thecustomer satisfaction and loyalty. Consistent technological development and changes providesmore assistance to the hospitality industry by improving customer experience in dining. Itenables restaurants to deliver faster services to the customers and thereby give remarkableexperience to them. 1.2 Rationale of the researchFor this research study, researcher will use organizational commitment theory whichstates three components such as affective, normative and continuance commitment. These threefactors closely affect the retention, performance and well being of an organization (Iqbal, 2013).In order to evolve high level of satisfaction among the customers’ restaurants needs to assess theways through which they become to improve the customer experience in the dining hall. As decision making of the customers are highly dependent upon their experience whichthey feel in the restaurant. It closely affects the repeat experience of the customers whenever theywant to take outside their homes. In the present scenario, technological improvement is one the factor upon which thegrowth of the restaurant chain is highly depends (Tomas, Arias and Montermoso, 2007). Thereis a huge competition between the organizations that operates in the hospitality industry. Thus,restaurants needs to assess the ways the technologies which enables them to deliver faster serviceto their customers and there by evolving satisfaction among them.This research study will place more emphasis upon the technological development whichhelps which improvises the experience of the customers in dining hall. This research will helpthe restaurant chains in attracting the large number of customers and there by maximize theirsales and revenue.
