trade. It helps in reach at the global market and targeting different segments of consumers.
Technology is advancing at faster rate than before and it changes expectations of consumers and
way in which hospitality sector conduct business (Chuang, Chen and Chen, 2016). The main role
of technology in hospitality sector has gained the importance in managing the consumer
satisfaction, generating high revenue and increasing employee efficiency. Cosmo is chain of the
buffet restaurants and it brings the choice of the fresh food under same roof and also elevate
concept of buffet to the new levels. Through using the technology in business, Cosmo World
Buffet Restaurant provide the quick services to consumers, interacting with the, securing
information, enhance operational efficiency and making the customer experience better.
Rationale of Research
Rationale behind conduct this research is to identify role of the technology on the
productivity of an organisation. Through this research, learner can know about benefits of the
technology and its role in the hospitality organisations. Technology plays a main role in
enhancing organisational performance and also productivity (Davis, Ferdous and Vetere, 2017).
