Introduction
Identification of risk in workplaces and set up of WHSMS reduces the risk of injury.
Establishment of the system assist an organization to address key duties as enumerated in the
Work Health and Safety Act 2011(WHS Act). Through the assessment of workplace risks,
accountabilities, procedures and policies are set in place to limit the impact of the risks. A
WHSMS is taken as a continuously evolving system which uses given feedbacks and
messages in order to manage and improve the safety related outcomes. It helps to promote
and build safety processes, integration of safety management systems, providing more
informed decision, corporate culture strengthening and demonstration of due diligence in
Spices of Malacca in Mawson (Battaglia, Passetti, & Frey, 2015).. In many countries,
company executives came to the conclusion that this standard is important for the company
and for its relationship with society and government, as it allows to create a safety
management system. This activity is not a one-off project or an accidental event.
Purpose and objectives of the WHSMS
Objectives should be quantified where feasible. By establishing and revising their own
objectives, the organization should take into account legislative and other requirements,
hazards and industrial risks, technological capabilities, financial, operational requirements,
obligations in spruce sphere and the views of stakeholders. Goals should be consistent with
health and safety policy statements, including the commitment to continuous improvement
(Boyle, 2015). .

The strategy for developing the system should be built on the following important
principles, which should be emphasized:
Step 1. Commitment of management and policy in the field of labor protection and industrial
safety.
Step 2. Planning and implementation of the policy in the field of labor protection and
industrial safety.
Step 3.Introduction, including the development of skills and the development of
methodologies necessary to implement the policy in the field of labor protection and
industrial safety (Glendon, Clarke, & McKenna, 2016). .
Step 4.Introduction, including the development of skills and the development of
methodologies necessary for the implementation of policies in the field of labor protection
and industrial safety.
Step 5. Confirmation and structural improvement of the functioning of the system of health
protection and personnel safety.
The scope of the document is much broader. The scope of the standard includes the following
issues of the organization (Haas, & Yorio, 2016).
